As a doctor in physics and a tutor for many years, I'm committed to ensuring that all my pupils and students succeed! I'm available to help with homework every week or on an ad hoc basis before exams, as you wish. I'm very good at listening to different problems and I'll be able to adapt to you.

A lesson always begins with a short discussion with the student to find out where he or she stands. I then adapt a little revision or experiential learning (“hands-on explanations” to get a feel for the different concepts) and then some practical exercises.

Extra information

Paper and pencil will suffice for lessons at the student's home. A tablet and pen for video exercises is a big plus, but by no means compulsory.

I am a chemist graduated from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). I have always been fascinated by science and now I hold a doctorate in solid-state physics from the University of Geneva.

Science subjects can help you pass exams. I have been teaching these disciplines for many years during exercise sessions held at the University as well as in private lessons given as an independent.

For this reason, you will have the possibility to ask me for explanations on any subject. It is indeed useful that you can progress on the basis of what you already know. You will of course have the choice to ask me for remedial lessons to revise or discover entire chapters. The math, physics, chemistry, and SVT courses of the Swiss maturity program and gymnasium or French programs are done by either in-depth explanations or by a quick course and summary of essential needs according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or evaluations and exams from other high schools.
