Hello there. I am Erdem, I have been tutoring students on math and physics for the last 6 years. I studied Physics in Istanbul Bogazici Uni, Turkey. Currently I am doing a masters on Atmospheric Physics at the University of Cologne.

6 years ago, I started tutoring because it is a very fun job to do. I liked seeing students learn things that they had not been able to learn before. Seeing those 'aha' moments when it finally 'clicks' for them makes me want to continue this work forever.

Sometimes students have a hard time understanding some concepts. The reason is typically the fact that they miss some vital information from the previous topics, and they don't know what they don't know. I think my most important job as a tutor is figuring out what they don't know, and help them fill the blanks in their knowledge.

Note: Unfortunately I don't speak German at the moment, (Although I am working on it) I can tutor only in English or Turkish.

I give my lessons face to face in Cologne, or online via Zoom.

I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company.
I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 11 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools.
