At this time, almost the end of the year, we are slowly approaching the CFC exam period. This is why I would like to share my help in preparing you for these exams that you will have at the end of the year. So I help with oral exams in French, German and English. Having myself graduated in 2022, I am perfectly able to support you on this final stretch.

Practice leads to perfection Unless you learned to speak French when you were a child, it is difficult when you don't speak it fluently to pass for a French speaker. However, this does not prevent you from learning to speak it correctly, because it is well known that a language spoken with a foreign accent is an asset of seduction! Although it may seem complicated, learning a new language is always fun and beneficial, so it is important to practice as much as possible and above all not to give up. Take every opportunity you are given to speak the language and listen to French as soon as possible. And remember: practice leads to perfection!

My course is intended for non-French speaking adults of all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I use an effective learning method adapted to each student. I use various educational documents, such as press articles, courses specially prepared for the student with targeted exercises, oral comprehension, written expressions ... Each daily lesson includes the progressive learning of grammar, spelling, pronunciation, conjugation and vocabulary. I also focus on oral and written expression.

TECHNOLOGIES FOR LEARNING. Hey, My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literatures since 2012. I have five years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created LangMethod, a learning method for online courses. The course includes: -The material (articles, videos, exercises from images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises...). I use Google Doc so it's best to have a Gmail address to access it. -The correction of exercises outside of class (the written expressions are corrected outside of class, or with the student, according to his needs). -Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone. -A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar / conjugation, sent after each course. -If necessary, a vocabulary recording (for beginners). -The realization of online exercises and tests from the sent vocabulary sheets. -Motivation, laughter, good mood :-) My method: - It's based on speaking. -For grammar I use a question/answer method (learned during the training at the CERAN center). -We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises for setting your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-) -Everything goes through the spoken word before the written word, but I clearly adapt to the needs of the students. -The course is a little different for children and adolescents: I use interactive games and cards via webcam. I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student who has recently completed a Master's degree in International Law at the University of Amsterdam. I completed my Bachelor's degree in International Relations at the University of Geneva (magna cum laude) and also spent six months on exchange at UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara). Additionally, I attended an international high school in France for my secondary education, where I specialized in sciences and achieved a score of 18/20 on the final scientific baccalaureate. The classes at this school were taught in French, english, dutch, and spanish. Here is an overview of my previous tutoring experience: 2021/2022: I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught french, dutch, and english to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus. 2021: Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as math and french. 2017/2020: I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught french, mathematics, and english. During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.
