Currently doing a double degree at Imperial College as part of my fourth year at École Polytechnique, I offer science courses (math, physics, chemistry) for all levels. In addition to my training in PCSI / PC * preparatory class (Pierre de Fermat high school) and at Polytechnique, I had the opportunity to be professor of physics at Saint Joseph University in Beirut in Lebanon for an internship of 6 month. I have also tutored several students in high school and in higher education during my years at Polytechnique. Recent graduate from a French engineering school, I am now a postgraduate student at Imperial College. I have already given mathematics classes in France and have developed a certain way of working. Usually, I first go over the lecture with the student, we read the principles and I take as much time is needed to answer any questions they might have. Then, we move on to exercises for the student to practice and apply what was learned in the lecture.

The only key really in to go at your pace, there is no rush and the goal is for you to reach the understanding you desire.

Tutoring can help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills. This gives students individualized attention that they don’t get in a crowded classroom. This is designed for those who struggle to keep up, as well as those who aren’t challenged enough. It also keeps students on track during breaks from school, such as during March Break, or during the summer.
The main aspects of this course will mainly be going over topics where there is a lack of understanding and going over them until they are fully understood. There is the oppurtunity to go through extra work related and if requested, above and beyond the students required level.
