Hello! My name is Katerina, and I invite everyone who wants to learn this magical instrument—kids and adults alike—to join my violin lessons. I have the experience: I graduated with honors from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, taught gifted children in Minsk, and am currently studying at the Basel Academy of Music in Switzerland. Whether you're an aspiring virtuoso or just want to play for pleasure, all are welcome! The main thing is a desire to learn; we’ll master the rest together. Lessons are friendly and relaxed, with a bit of patience, a bit of persistence—and soon, the music will start flowing! In addition to violin, I also offer beginner piano lessons for both children and adults—perfect for those who want to explore another beautiful instrument.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced, I will help you progress on the violin or viola and achieve your goals accordingly. Our common goal in the classroom is to have the music in your head and also in your body. I try to convey my enthusiasm for music to you (or to your child) and to give you the theoretical and practical tools to discover your own musical experience and realize it with the instrument.

I offer Viola and Violin classes to students of all levels and ages. It does not matter if your purpose is to discover these magnificent instruments from the biginning or to improve your current level. I allways belived that starting or deepening the practice of a string instrument is a learning process that, beyond allowing the student to improve and develop their skills as an instrumentalist, serves to increase the student's multiple capabilities. The association capacity that the practice of a musical instrument entails and the discovery of the richness of classical music brings immense benefits for the student. Hello! My name is Gizem and I've graduated from Turku University of Applied Sciences as a Music Pedagogue/Violin and Viola Teacher in 2024. Currently I'm studying Viola in Sibelius Academy. I'm the player of the Maussiell Viola loaned by the OP Bank Art Foundation I have 5 years of experience in both Violin and Viola teaching. I have my education on children's pedagogy but I love teaching to people from all ages! In my lessons, I prioritise my student's goals and wishes. Hi there, I'm a professional viola and violin teacher, teaching in person and online, in English, German or Russian. As well as instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of all ages and levels over the last 12 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ in London and have taught on the Senior and Primary Arpeggione Viola Courses. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I participated in their conferences across Europe, including at the European Parliament in 2018. I also prepare students for music exams, auditions and competitions at all levels, and work with them on music theory, aural and sight reading skills, and can accompany them the piano. Alongside my teaching I perform internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, including at Kings Place London, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Philharmonie Berlin. I am a Hattori Foundation and Villa Musica artist, winner of the Małopolska competition, the Barbirolli Prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition. I hold a masters degree with first class honours from the class of Tabea Zimmermann at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, and Bachelors with the same distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I began in the primary department almost 20 years ago. I'm an avid chamber musician, and am a founding member of Ensemble Textura, a string ensemble based in Berlin, performing renowned works alongside experimental arrangements and lesser known masterpieces.
