Currently studying in the first year at EPFL, in the Computer Science and Communications System faculty. I offer repetition courses in mathematics and more generally in science subjects, from elementary school to high school level. This course is aimed at students having difficulty in scientific branches as well as students wishing to improve their knowledge or prepare for higher studies in the scientific field. During the lessons, I review the different notions learned at school and try to bring them in a more intuitive and less abstract way. Then we apply these concepts in the exercises. I also focus on developing a method of scientific thinking, in order to solve future exercises independently.

I am a Master student at EPFL. I have previously completed a preparatory class in France and have joined the Ecole Polytechnique (X). I propose courses of mathematics, physics or chemistry for maturity or for higher studies. I would be very happy to be able to accompany you during this semester, and will do my best to help you succeed!

Trusted teacher

Master student (chemical engineering) at EPFL I offer to help the student in the homework, preparation of examinations and assimilation of information given in class. I have easy contact and passion for science that I would try to pass on to the student

To lay the foundation for success. Holder of two masters, physics and mathematics (Institute of Optics Graduate School and Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan), I have a long experience of private lessons. My pedagogy is based on the incentive. Rather than solving the exercises stupidly, I give the missing keys to the student so that he / she can pass his exams. The goal is for the student to become independent quickly.

I teach courses in civil engineering, mathematics (secondary and university), physics (secondary) either in a public place, at the student's home or by webcam. The aim of the course is to understand the material and not to learn it by heart, in order to be able to solve all types of exercises without being destabilized when there is a small modification. I am at your disposal to adapt my course to each one. I like that the course is alive, that there is an interaction between the student and myself. It also ensures that the material has been understood. Above all, feel free to ask all your questions and also to send me your comments. It is always good to have feedback in order to progress. Know that you are all capable of succeeding, for that you have to find the working method that suits you! Have confidence in yourself!

Good morning ! My name is Julien and I have been at EPFL for 5 years. Graduated with a Bachelor's degree from EPFL, I am a specialist in academic assistance for mathematics and computer science. I have a lot of experience helping and supporting first-year university students. I have accompanied many students during the course and I know the challenges encountered by the students. I carry out real work of reframing and monitoring the student, while ensuring an atmosphere of personal progress for the student. I am very flexible on working conditions and locations, but here are some examples of private lessons: - Online availability on Zoom, I have a tablet and a pen for optimal working conditions. - Directly on the EPFL campus to save you additional transport. - Possibility of working in groups with your friends with a reduction in prices or directly at your home. Students of all levels are welcome and of course my help will be adapted according to the needs and objectives of the student. Whether it is for a one-day private lesson to solve a few problems, or a follow-up during the semester, I will try to offer the best assistance to the student.

Hello! I would like to share and transmit my enthusiasm for science (Maths, Physics, Computer Science) and allow you to acquire tools, methods and intuitions that could be useful to you well beyond the academic framework (for example, the ability to construct and write an argument, the ability to reason and take a critical look).

I am in the first year of physics at EPFL. I am available almost every day until late at night and even on Sundays. I speak English and French. I have already given math lessons online which allows me to have experience with private lessons.

Maths and physics are among the branches that divide students the most. However I am convinced that it is possible to reconcile them with their refractories by providing a personalized and pragmatic pedagogy, while linking the subject to other branches to anchor them in a general knowledge. Thus these courses given at home are personally adapted to each student according to his affinities and his goals.

I am in my third year of mathematics at EPFL. I am available almost all week. I am fluent in Dutch, French and English. I already have experience with private lessons that I gave for two years in Maths, Physics, Latin, English and French to high school students. I am also an assistant in Maths (Analysis, Algebra) and Physics at EPFL for first year students. I am therefore able to give lessons / support for all levels.

I am a master's student at EPFL, I teach science courses for primary and secondary students. It is sometimes difficult to identify the expectations of the school program and identify your own weaknesses in order to improve. With the help of the student's course material, I offer a course adapted to his needs in order to identify the difficulties and acquire a method allowing better success.

In mathematics I resume the course by asking questions to the student to see if everything has been understood, otherwise I explain the concepts that are not understood. When we move on to the exercises I let the student try to see where his mistakes and gaps are and I give him the necessary tools to solve problems. In physics I concentrate a little more on the theory which is more difficult to understand then I proceed in the same way as in math for the exos.

As a Master's student in Mechanical Engineering at EPFL, and holder of a Bachelor's degree in the same discipline, I have acquired a solid mastery of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. My academic background has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts as well as experience in their practical application. I offer courses tailored to students up to high school level, whether to reinforce the basics, prepare for exams, or delve deeper into certain topics. My goal is to make science accessible and motivating, helping each student progress at their own pace. During the lessons, we will work together to understand key concepts and put them into practice through a variety of exercises. I place great importance on personalized support, so that the student gains confidence, autonomy, and develops an effective working method.

FOR WHOM, FOR WHAT: This course aims to provide a framework for the preparation of future students at EPFL. Many students are preparing for the start of the new school year at EPFL, but many of them are lost and don't know where to start. Some drag gaps from gymnasium/college with them, which prevent them from starting to learn/relearn math and physics and prepare well for the start of the school year. In this course, I propose to supervise the student in his preparation. This course is adapted to the level in mathematics (standard and advanced) and physics (standard) of all sections of EPFL*. CONTENTS : The course aims to adapt to the needs of the student. In particular, it is common to: - resume gym/college classes -identify and address remaining gym/college gaps - Fly over new subjects (the goal being not to be surprised when introducing them to the university) -Work on certain subjects in advance -Develop a work strategy and get organized -Share experience/give advice -Present the exam modalities (within the limits of my knowledge) Note that the courses are flexible. For more information on course content, please contact me to discuss. REMARKS : -> This course aims to give a boost to future students at EPFL. It does not in any way guarantee the success of the student (obviously). -> This course is often given in support of the book "Know how in mathematics" -> The course is based on my experience (EPFL, mathematics section). SIZE: The course can be given face-to-face in the Lausanne region (preferably Renens / Ecublens) or Geneva (preferably center) depending on my travel availability (this is to be agreed by message with me directly, this option only appears by default in my schedules available below). Otherwise, the course is generally given by Zoom with screen sharing where I generally write by hand). The notes during the course are sent to the student after the course is completed in PDF format. For more availability, please contact me. Hoping to be able to help you. *except advanced physics (only for the physics section)

I offer support courses in mathematics or science. The idea is to work to achieve an objective with the student: preparation for a test, maturity, entry to EPFL or UNIL, etc... Depending, I would suggest reviewing concepts and doing exercises that I would suggest.
