Trusted teacher: Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points: -Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear - Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords - Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand - Learning of different pieces of your choice - Left hand control exercises, speed and precision - Learning arpeggios - Work around muscle memory - Learning improvisation, musical play with others - Ear training: use your ears to find chords, melodies, sounds and techniques used -Spend a pleasant moment of exchange, without unnecessary institutional pressure, while obtaining concrete results -Understand and discover the many facets of an exciting and user-friendly instrument - Benefit from personalized advice on your posture and certain pitfalls to avoid when starting alone -Adjust and clarify your self-taught knowledge - Learn tablatures / tabs & in English. Note : - Possibility to use the guitar available on site, during the test phase. - As our teacher is also a singing teacher, it is possible to combine the two disciplines: guitar + vocal instrument, and to work on synchronization, style and accuracy. - Possibility of offering this course (birthday, party, Christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice. THE TEACHER : Trained in Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League university in the United States, our teacher has specialized and has worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field, in renowned international public and private establishments, with careful pedagogy and methodology as the watchwords. PLACES : - Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Friborg-Neuchâtel-Montreux-Bâle-Sion-Sierre-Morges-Bienne. But currently, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.

Trusted teacher: As a music producer I've had recent releases on Crosstown Rebels UK and Codek Records UK/CH in 2025. If you search my name you will find my music which stylistically comes out of my years as a professional club DJ in New York City and Geneva more recently. As an instructor I work with students from beginner to advanced on guitar, electric bass, Ableton live, mixing and song production. I work to make lessons fun while teaching you the skills you need to play the music and songs you love. Additionally, I teach techniques that allow you to learn songs independently, while discussing the theory and mechanics of music in the context of the songs we're working on. With a deep knowledge of different musical styles that make people dance, I place particular emphasis on rhythm and using your ear, how you listen when you're playing music—how to recognize your emotional and physical experience when you're playing well. This can happen at any level. 🎶 Adjunct Professor of Electronic Music at Long Island University for four years, specializing in music software composition. 🎶 Guitar and bass teacher at Ecolint's Le Grand Boissière and GEMS Academy in Etoy. 🎶 DJ in New York and in Geneva, primarily for events organized by local Swiss art and music associations. 🎶Musical training in the professional music scene. 🎶Studied jazz improvisation and, at 20, became a member of a seven-piece band in NYC, whose album "The Sound of Konk" is considered an important document of that creative era. 🎶Music producer for the Children's Television Workshop (Sesame Street) and coach for the musical performances of the child actors. Numerous independent dance music releases. Please check with me directly for availability.

Trusted teacher: Want to learn to play, (re)gain confidence, or simply make your favorite songs sound like they do on stage by the stove? I offer acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass lessons at home or via video. What I propose: A tailor-made course: we start with what you like. Your favorite songs guide the progression; I build technique and ear around your repertoire (rock, folk, chanson, blues, metal, funk, etc.). All levels, all ages: from complete beginners to experienced musicians, in individual lessons, parent-child duos, or small groups. Active and collective teaching: group playing (if there is a group), covers and creations, improvisation, preparation of small scenes (music festival, village festival), and recordings to keep track of your progress. This approach is at the heart of my teaching: work by covers, stage projects, creations and MAO support. “Sound & studio” module (optional): discovery of effects, the sound chain, introduction to MAO / home studio (notably Ableton Live) to arrange, record and mix your tracks. Concrete & practical: rhythm, right hand/plectrum, chords and inversions, riffs, vocal accompaniment, reading grids/tabs, setting up with metronome and backing tracks. Who am I ? Léopold, State-certified musician (DE) in Amplified Contemporary Music (guitar). I taught at the Conservatoire in France for a few years Teacher adept at active, creative and collective pedagogy, connected to the real practices of musicians; formative assessment and differentiated pedagogy according to profiles. Artistic practice: rock/folk/experimentation/electronic, I participated in several musical projects which allowed me to have a good experience of the stage and the studio. Because music doesn't require large venues or big facilities: a guitar, a quiet room, and the desire to play are all you need. Here, we cultivate authenticity, consistency, and the joy of playing—whether it's accompanying a local choir, hosting a drinks reception with friends, or putting together a small band for the village festival. And above all, we learn by doing: step by step, piece by piece, until it grooves. If this speaks to you, write or call me—we'll tune the guitars, then we'll tune the lenses. See you soon!

Trusted teacher: I have been immersed in music, and particularly the piano, for over 40 years. I was trained by concert professors, who were themselves trained by the greatest (my own professor's piano teacher was taught by Alfred Cortot). I learned music theory at the Conservatoire and harmony and counterpoint at the HEM in Geneva. At the same time, I have a Bachelor's degree in Musicology from the Université des Lettres de Genève. This allows me not only to teach the essential basics of music to students, but also to place each style and each composer in its historical context. This greatly facilitates learning. I teach all types of music, from classical to modern pop, including film music and more recent composers like Ludovico Einaudi. My goal is to give the student a good harmonic foundation and a good musical ear so that they can be independent in what they want to play and always have the pleasure of sitting down at the piano! My classes are aimed at beginners of all ages (children or adults) with no musical knowledge, as well as advanced students or those who want to prepare for theoretical or practical exams. The scores will always be chosen in agreement with the student, according to their objectives and desired progress, mixing all musical styles (classical, pop, film music, etc.) so that they always have fun playing their instrument. Each student is unique, which is why each lesson is prepared individually to meet their aspirations or objectives. It is very important to me that the course takes place in a kind and sharing atmosphere, with discussion. For children, I can conduct regular interviews with parents in person or by phone (after each lesson if necessary) to report on the progress made and the achievement of desired objectives. I am very flexible regarding the wishes of each student and therefore adapt easily to any situation. The strong points of the lessons: • In all styles (classical, contemporary, modern hits, film music) • All levels, courses in French • Possibility of courses or additional courses in English or Russian if necessary • All ages (for children under 6 years old, lessons of 15-20 minutes maximum with adapted price) • Organization of recitals in the presence of parents and the public in a friendly atmosphere • Kindness • Adaptation to each student, definition of objectives individually • The student can choose certain pieces that he would like to play • Improvisation: learning improvisation techniques so that the student can play pieces on the piano naturally and without sheet music. • For children: regular interviews with parents in person or by telephone (after each lesson if necessary) to report on progress made and achievement of desired objectives • Discount from the 2nd student per family • Listening to each student • Always in kindness and benevolence • Theory and practice are taught in parallel so that the student always enjoys everything they do. Possibility of taking the two separately (either piano or music theory) • Share my passion for music • Patience • Piano 4 hands • Canton of Geneva – free travel

Celia is a wonderful teacher. Really passionate and this comes across very well. She is patient when teaching and helps you get a very deep understanding of the importance of starting with the basics and then building upwards from there. I really enjoyed and will do more lessons in the future. Best, Alessandro
