Mathematics Courses – Academic Support & Exam Preparation

Mathematics Courses – Academic Support & Exam Preparation

Hello ! Passionate about mathematics and keen to pass on my knowledge, I offer math lessons adapted to all levels (middle school, high school, or even higher education depending on needs). Method of working My priority: to restore confidence in each student and make math an accessible and even enjoyable subject! Personalized diagnosis During the first session, I identify the student's strengths, challenges, and goals with the student. This allows me to develop a targeted program tailored to their level, allowing them to progress effectively. Clear and illustrated explanations I transform abstract concepts into concrete examples and real-life situations to facilitate understanding. Each lesson is based on diagrams, games, or analogies adapted to the student's age and interests. Progressive and varied exercises I propose exercises of increasing difficulty, to consolidate acquired knowledge, stimulate thinking and autonomy. We work on both the fundamentals as well as methods of solving and organizing reasoning. Individualized monitoring and availability I remain available between sessions to answer your questions or review your homework. Regular progress reports ensure accurate monitoring and allow for adjustments to the method if necessary. Developing motivation My goal is not only academic success, but also to transmit curiosity and the joy of understanding! I encourage initiative, the search for personal examples, and value every progress, big or small.

PWYW / FreePrice: For the best students, the right math teacher, the right method, the right style

PWYW / FreePrice: For the best students, the right math teacher, the right method, the right style

Hello My lessons are aimed at those who strive for excellence in Maths. If your child already has a score above 16/20 and wants to improve, I believe I can help them. Inasmuch as : - Former prep school student, M' (now PM* I think) - Former student of a top 5 business school - Former private tutor in Maths (and Physics) for high school and preparatory school students, while I was a student - Still passionate about math, - Still passionate about teaching, with a very personal and unique style - father of 3 boys I would be happy to give lessons to your child, ideally at high school level. I am not a professional teacher, so I don't come with my own sets of exercises. I simply help the student by re-explaining the lesson in my own way, and by working through a few exercises (already done in class or in which he has difficulty, or new ones taken from his book). Through my work with my children (23, 16, and 12 years old), I've realized that children are finding it increasingly difficult to concentrate on understanding a lesson, its logic, the tools it gradually provides (theorems, definitions, etc.), and how to use them. They are less and less able to take notes and reflect by writing down their ideas. In my opinion, excellence lies in this. I'm not doing this just for the money. I'm truly passionate about the subject matter, about success, about teaching. So I accept that everyone pays what they can/want. I hope to see many of you soon. See you soon.

ESSEC-Centrale dual degree student offers math tutoring for high school and ECE/ECS preparatory classes.

ESSEC-Centrale dual degree student offers math tutoring for high school and ECE/ECS preparatory classes.

After two years in ECS preparatory class at Louis-Le-Grand, I joined ESSEC Business School and then the engineering school CentraleSupélec (formerly Ecole Centrale Paris) in a double degree program. After three 20/20 scores in the mathematics sections of the entrance exams, I improved my level in this subject to prepare for admission to CentraleSupélec. I am thoroughly familiar with the preparatory classes for business schools (ECS and ECE) (as well as those for high school), and I am used to tutoring at all levels (middle school, high school, preparatory classes including those for the second year of preparatory classes). In particular, I gave math practice exams to first-year business school students at Louis-Le-Grand throughout the lockdown. I make it a point to emphasize above all else that the student understands the lesson: in my opinion, it is essential to fully grasp the concepts before putting them into practice. To meet this requirement, I help the student integrate the theoretical concepts at the beginning of each session. Then, especially for students in preparatory classes, I usually train them on exam questions, starting with exercises from past papers (like those from EM/EDHEC) to check that they have a good grasp of the material. Then, when the student feels confident, we tackle questions from the so-called "Parisian" schools. The goal is to prepare the student as best as possible to face these challenging, but far from insurmountable, exams!
