I have 10 years of experience in Belgium and abroad. I offer online classes using a method that I have developed over the years, specifically for online classes. *My method:* -During class we focus on speaking. Outside of class, I will send you exercises that I will correct every week (grammar, conjugation, writing...). -I use a particular technique based on questions/answers to apply the grammar when speaking. -I use the verbotonal method to correct pronunciation. -You will also receive access to an application for your Smartphone (to learn the vocabulary). -Use an interactive whiteboard. -We will use a shared online notebook to correct your exercises and ask me your questions at any time of the day. In addition to private coaching, I also work for an online ESL company delivering English lessons to children across a range of age groups. In addition, I also work as an ESL proofreader and IELTS private tutor here in The Hague. I hold a BA (Hons) degree and have a CELTA qualification. Prior to a career in ESL English teaching, I worked in the UK national press for the Times and Financial Times newspapers. It was there I developed my proofreading and communications skills. In my spare time, I write articles for magazines and have had feature stories published in The Telegraph magazine, The Daily Mail and a number of health magazines. I have also written two language books. The first, 'I Already Speak Speak French!' is an illustrated book for children that covers the etymology of many English words to their French origin (attached is a sample of it for your interest!). It has been translated for the French market into, 'I Already Speak English!' The second book is called, 'Learn Business English FAST!' which draws on a teaching methodology used for effective, fast learning that I used whilst teaching English for the international company, GoFluent.

I can't reccommend Claude enough! I reached out to him about doing some French classes to prepare for an exam that I needed to sit in work. I wasn't sure what it would entail but gave him the vague information I had. He created bespoke classes for me which covered a vast amount in a short amount of time. He managed to blend seamlessly the different aspects of language learning (aural, oral and written) during our classes and explained very complicated grammar points in a clear, precise way. He has a wealth of knowledge which he shares so generously. If you are looking for engaging, interactive classes with a teacher who is passionate about the language and can adapt to any level, look no further!

Robin is an exceptional native speaker teacher, very profesional and dedicated. My daugthers and wife attend his online classes regularly. He is a very educated person who cares about the student's learning. He prepares his classes conscientiously and precisely, adapted to the needs of the students. They focus mainly in improving their conversation skills. Robin is also very flexible as he has frequently adapted his lessons to fit into our other family activites. We really appreciate. Great teacher! Very prepared for each lesson and flexible in helping out with specific language problems. He quickly picks up on your level and then adapts his speaking and teaching to match it, while pushing for greater skills all the while in a fun way and with self designed tests and questions. Very eager to really help you along in speaking and understanding Japanese. 10/10 would recommend!
