I specialize in teaching about Music and how to play the Guitar. In class, I always make an effort to understand what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their skills. This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. I believe that an honest and friendly relationship between teacher and student is essential for this exchange of ideas to happen more clearly and fluently, so I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts freely. I offer good and personalized classes. This means that there will be special care with your interest in music and guitar, all basic skills will be worked upon and strengthened, all specific requests and ideas will be addressed, both improvisation and interpretation can be developed, and exploring potential, achieving goals and having fun are main priorities. Come and enjoy learning more about Music and Guitar!

I am Michele, a professional musician with more than 15 years of experience and with two Classical Guitar Master's degrees. I give guitar and music theory lessons for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced players. I believe that following a path that best suits the characteristics, tastes, and goals of each student is the best and funniest way to learn an instrument. Each of my lessons is unique and adapted to the student's personality. At first, I usually aim at the acquisition of basic knowledge relating to the instrument. Then, you decide what to learn: from classical guitar to electric or acoustic guitar, from classical music to rock, pop, or folk! For instance, if you want to learn how to play classical music, we are going to work on how to read and interpret a score, acquire a good technique (arpeggios, scales, and control of polyphony) while always focusing on the meaning, the feeling, and the direction of the musical piece. At the same time, if you want to focus on other genres (such as rock, pop, etc...) we are going to work on improving your ear skills, sense of rhythm, and theory knowledge while learning the songs you like the most. In this way, you will be able to learn not only how to play guitar by yourself, but also how to play together with other people, be able to understand the music and play what you really feel and want to play. Of course, nothing stops us from working on different styles of playing at the same time! I am also available for the preparation of the entrance exams to the guitar courses (preparatory courses, Bachelor, Master) of the Conservatory.

I am a professional classical guitarist and lutenist with many years of teaching experience. I tailor lessons to my students' needs and interests. This may mean training a young classical guitarist for a professional career, teaching a beginner to play his or her favorite pop song, or anything in between! Learning to play the lute, mandolin, or ukulele are other possibilities, or perhaps improving one's knowledge of music theory. I have a background in electric guitar, electric bass, and traditional Irish music. Whatever the style or instrument, I always strive to impart or reinforce the fundamentals of technique and musicianship.

My guitar lessons are tailored to the goals, interests, and level of each student. Lessons take place in a friendly and supportive environment, where learning is both enjoyable and motivating. Depending on the student's needs, lessons can be either informal and relaxed or more structured and formal. Whether you're preparing for music education, want to improve specific techniques, or are returning to the guitar after a break, lessons are tailored to your needs. The goal is always to create the best possible learning environment where you can confidently grow and achieve your musical goals.
