A little more about me: My name is Suely and I obtained my Bachelor's degree in music at the Amsterdam Conservatory where I was able to develop an international vision of music, both as a performer and teacher. After several years living in different countries and participating in international orchestras and festivals, such as the Civic Orchestra of Chicago or the Lucerne Music Festival Academy, I returned to Madrid where I completed my master's degree in solo performance and where I combine my professional career as a violinist, both in orchestras and chamber music, with my other great passion: teaching. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

“ Miriam is really a pleasant person, i enjoyed my class with her , she started with me from level "-1" :D and she is always patient and eager to teach me, she is also open to contact her at any time apart from our planned sessions. she also encouraged me to play/practice songs i love apart from the course material and simplified the notes to match my level which make me more enthusiastic about learning music. I really learned a lot from her and willing to continue learning violin with Miriam :) ”

“ Zoey is both knowledgeable and skilled in observing what I was doing - and then had right words and actions to show me what I could change - and PRACTICE changing - to improve my sound and overall skills. She focused on fundamental positions of my right hand and the bow position for the first lesson. When we moved into playing a piece that I was working on, she had suggestions that incorporated those fundamentals with the specifics of the piece. I look forward to practicing this week. ”

“ I am so glad that I have chosen Lucia as my Spanish teacher. Our first two classes were very enjoyable. In our first meeting, we first discussed my learning goals and how we will work together. We have agreed the structure for our classes. It was participative and fun, yet she held me responsible for my earning by giving me assignments and reviewing my progress. She is very personable and supportive, which helps our classes to flow well. Thank you Lucia. ”
