Before that I studied political sciences and had a couple of experiences in public communication. As a teacher, I gave classes in languages centers (such as Berlitz or Semantics), so I worked and continue working in different environments like lawyer cabinets, hospitals, companies or NGO based in Brussels or with people learing french through unemployment programs). My class is essentially based on improving communication skills, that is to say that I give an advantage to the practice of verbal expression, through simulations (of professional situations, like doing a public presentation or conducting a meeting,...) and conversation (around documents and medias like articles, audiovisual items,...). Nana is an excellent and fun teacher. I can really recommend her to anybody who wants to improve their French. I wanted to gain confidence in speaking French, so we chose the format of going for walks in different parts of Brussels. This way we had conversations whilst also exploring the city beyond the well-trodden paths. Nana is a perfect match if you want to leave the expat bubble and meet some real Belgians. But she is also fluent in English and has teaching experience abroad. If I couldn’t think of a word in French I would just use the English one and she would translate. As the weather gets colder, we will have to adapt our method, but I’m sure that will work out. I am looking forward to my next lesson with Nana.

I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)
