Trusted teacher: The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress. Here the pleasure of playing music is put forward. The kind of music you love most will be the focus of the course, their codes and secrets will be the focus of our study, that's what I want to share with you. We can do technical lessons and simply learn together how to play one or more songs of your choice or mine, enrich your game with this approach and your repertoire! (For example, We can re-arrange the pieces and make them more original by approaching the system (CAGED), and enriching their chords, resulting in new positions, new techniques and new sounds, using arpeggio techniques rather than strumming for 4-chord pieces, voicing and fingerstyle techniques, in short, expanding the instrument's playing fields and playing skills to keep progressing in your game and improve your rehearsals ...) If you make a request, this program is obviously accompanied by the pleasure of learning more in theory and being able to directly apply new knowledge on its instrument and identify its common or rare use in the pieces discussed in class. In this case, the theory is translated to be accessible to anyone, both for those who are connoisseurs and for those who discover everything from absolute zero. The exercises, songs, and theoretical explanations offered throughout the program are organized in an order of progressive difficulty. I wrote and produced 2 books of my method to learn the guitar and the music, that I sell to accompany my course and your apprenticeship in the best conditions and so that you can continue the course even at home and to review etc ... . There is ONE BOOK OF COURSES containing all the theoretical and practical program of the year, as well as a BOOK OF EXERCISE on the ranges and the modes that you can obtain directly. You can find here an indicative list of objectives that I propose in my theoretical program, which can of course adapt to your request. The general theoretical objectives of the course: --- Tuning / tuning and knowing his guitar: * Standard Tuning * Drop Tuning * Open Tuning * Adjust the optimal tension of the strings * Adjust the shaft axis * Adjust the action of the strings * Choose the strings adapted to the style of play / tuning * Change his strings -Know his chords: * Triads: Fundamental State & Inversions * Tetrads: Fundamental State & Inversions * The chord progressions of the Range * Arpeggio techniques (tapping, sweep, 1/2/4 fing.shape, etc ...) --- Know his scales and his modes * The Mode of the Major scale * 3 Modes of the Minor scale: Natural / Melodic / Harmonic * Modes of the Pentatonic range: 5 positions * Modes of the Blues range: 5 positions Etc ... --- Technique to the Pick / Plectrum / Tab / Pick (Electric Guitar): * Alternate Picking * Fast Picking / Tremolo Picking * Hybrid Picking * Palm Mute * Natural Harmonics * Pinch Harmonics * Artificial Harmonics * Shredding * Tapping * Sweep Picking * Legato Picking --- Strumming / Hand Picking (Acoustic Guitar) * "SnareDrum" percussion on the guitar * Arpeggios pinched with 4 fingers + thumb * Rasgueado (Flamenco Technique) * Generic Strumming * Fingerstyle Picking * Two-finger picking + Legato for fast melodies (eg a solo) -Play the metronome * exercises on click * practice on song riffs -Learn his favorite songs * without thinking about the difficulty, nothing is impossible with the right methodology -Improvise * choose ranges and positions * to place oneself rhythmically, to finish on the judicious notes -Theory of Harmony * Understand harmonization and its practice -Theory on the Melody -Theory of Rhythm

Dirk - Brussels34€
Trusted teacher: Badass Intensive Acting studios is one of the only organizations in the Benelux to provide acting lessons for the camera. All experience levels and ages are welcome. Now that the corona measures have loosened up, we can also teach both online and live in Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Leuven! With this you register yourself for a trial lesson, after which you can also follow the entire course. More info * For all possible experience levels * All major acting techniques (Adler, Chekhov, Hagen, Practical Aesthetics, Stanislavski, Strasberg, proprietary REPEAT and Hollywood Actor's Showcase unique approach) * Emphasis on self-development and modeling your own approach * Acting for film and TV + improv * Support and help with resumes, castings, networks, showcases, showreels and more About our partnership with Hollywood Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting Workshop is one of the best-known, most influential acting schools in the United States. After 30 years of training for aspiring actors and Hollywood stars (including Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore), she teamed up with Belgium's Badass Intensive Acting Studios last year to expand European. The goal is simple: to bring the authentic energy of Hollywood to Europe, so that even people who cannot afford to move to America themselves can receive the same education. There are not many acting courses that focus on acting in front of the camera. After all, most schools teach you — implicitly or explicitly — theater techniques and while the art of acting itself remains central, it should be clear that acting for TV and film requires slightly different skills, as it usually involves subtler, smaller expressions and movements. . Film connoisseurs therefore know that the camera tends to notice the smallest emotion. The most minuscule micro-expressions, the least obvious 'subtext' and the most layered interpretations are visible on both the large and the small screen. In Belgium, Badass PR's Intensive Acting Courses have long been one of the few acting classes that deal exclusively with acting in front of the camera, supplemented with improvisation. During the lessons, all the important acting techniques are discussed, including those of Adler, Chekhov, Hagen, Meisner, Practical Aesthetics, Stanislavski and Strasberg, but the goal remains the same: to forget technique in a sense and to act as naturally as you breathe. Badass Intensive Acting Studios' own technology, REPEAT, has also been developed for this. Ever since author / coach / editor / PR consultant Dirk started teaching acting classes more than 10 years ago, he has tried to offer his students as many opportunities as he could. That went by trial and error: sometimes he failed to get something off the ground, at other times he succeeded in his objectives. Those of his students range from developing more self-confidence to becoming more sociable and getting more opportunities to star in a play, a movie or a TV series. One of the best decisions: partnering with the Hollywood Actors' Studios of Larry, Bobbie and Richie Chance - three of the most famous acting coaches in the film world. Badass Intensive Acting has been organizing workshops in Los Angeles and Las Vegas for years now to enable its students to learn from the most prestigious instructors, talent agents and casting directors that Los Angeles has on offer. For example, the collaboration with Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting workshop has already paid off. Of course it depends on many factors whether you can achieve success as an actor — a great deal of luck and a lot of dedication are usually very important — but the students at the Chances can certainly say that they are as prepared as they can be. From improv lessons to working with scripts and intensely emotional lessons, the courses cover the entire spectrum of what the film world needs. Since August 2019, Badass Intensive Acting Studios and Hollywood Actor's Showcase in Belgium have been flying under a banner. In Belgium, the Chances now work exclusively with Badass Intensive Acting Studios (now 'Powered by Hollywood Actor's Showcase'). The participating students not only receive a discount on the international workshops, but can also enjoy many other benefits. With your course fee you can participate in any of our courses whenever you want. This way you can not only learn to act, but also taste our courses in debate and presentation techniques (our TV course), communication, singing, improvisation, 'physical acting', lie detection, hypnosis, directing, or writing! Of course, the following applies: the more you follow 1 particular course, the faster you progress. Also don't forget that you can collect points with an UitPas! Early bird discounts are also available for all our workshops. So be quick. The acting course is continuous. So you can choose which lessons you participate in and which you do not.

Serdane - Brussels69€
Trusted teacher: My name is Serdane and I offer Dutch lessons to secondary school students and adults who find it difficult to develop a way of working that suits them. Extroverted and bubbly...and above all, a lot of humor! Everyone learns in their own way. Some people learn languages intuitively by engaging in conversations. Others need rigorous exposure to grammatical concepts before launching into practice...in short, there are as many ways to learn as there are students! This is why I do not adopt a rigid method, but rather I adapt to the specificities of each student. I assess their level, their strengths, their possible weaknesses or delays, and I adjust my course accordingly. My priority is to give confidence to the student: Dutch is accessible to everyone when it is taught well! I believe in the effectiveness of active teaching methods: I encourage student participation as much as possible, guiding them to discover what works best for them. This ultimately allows him to continue his learning independently. My areas of expertise: - Enhancement - catching up - Grammar reviews - Conversation course - Work method (organization, schedule of revisions, etc.) - Support for beginners My price includes complete academic support (private lessons, possibility of asking questions outside of class hours, assistance with writing and correcting questions, etc.). If necessary, I provide specific help for the preparation of questions or exams in more complex subjects. I produce all of my course materials for each student. So there is no need for you to buy a learning book. However, if you are already working from a book, it is entirely possible for me to adapt to it.

Michael - Brussels104€
Trusted teacher: Note: ALL SUPPLIES & TOOLS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE STUDENTS FOR THE FIRST TEN (10) LESSONS — All canvas, stretcher-bars, panels, paper, brushes, pens, pencils, ink, charcoal, paints, varnish, etc. The finished artworks are, of course, your to keep. There are many ways to create a so-called "realistic" oil painting. And there are many visual tools that an artist can use to make a beautiful visual statement. Whether using thick impastos, thin washes of solvent-based color, bodied glazes, or mixed media elements, each technique can yield an engaging visual experience. Painting is, after all, a means of communication. In this course, we will begin with the basic ideas and techniques for drawing and painting forms as the eye sees them. You will learn every stage for producing aesthetically pleasing and technically strong oil paintings. We will discuss concepts and ideas for painting, developing different studies, stretching the canvas, line drawing, tonal lay-in, dead-coloring (or color block-in), and modeling the forms (1st painting, 2nd painting, and finishing). We will also cover the techniques of alla prima or premier coup (direct painting in one pass). We will also study the formal methods of composition, different kinds of perspectives, paint surface and paint quality (facture), and proportions. And, of course, we will discuss the use of varnishes, including the final picture varnish. Stay calm and confident if some of these terms are new to you. We will adapt the lessons for each artist. I will help you to learn, understand, and perform each step of the painting process. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced painter: there is something for you!

Trusted teacher: I've been teaching English to small children up to teenagers at École Française Internationale. I give lessons for beginners and intermediate levels. I mix between French and English so the pupil doesn't get too confused, but also allows them to understand every detail. For beginners, we usually talk about our surroundings, what's close to us and what affects us on a daily basis. (Numbers, directions, the weather, asking simple questions, what's a noun and pronoun and where to put them in a sentence). I like to find playful activities so that the pupil/student is in control of their work. Of course, this is an example for a certain age group, but it also varies depending on their knowledge and their age. For intermediates, we make basic conversation. Ex: How do you go to school; What do you do in your free time? ; What's the weather like? -------------------------------- The start of the course with a new learner consists of detecting their level by talking about their background, what they already know, what they must master in order to no longer have any gaps. The first lesson also allows the learner to get comfortable and get to know me to establish mutual trust. That’s why I use a touch of my British humor to achieve this. (I generally do this at the start of the lesson with my students to establish a good mood and they are always delighted!) To help the learner better engage with the learning, I will ask them what their passions/hobbies are, this who interests him to arouse interest in learning. I will adapt my lessons on subjects that speak to him more. Whatever the reason for the course, whether it is to improve oral, written, reading or listening comprehension, I organize audio sessions, readings, everything necessary to deepen in the language.

Lou-Indigo

Lou-Indigo is hands-down the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning music from. Having been taught by a number of music teachers for a variety of different instruments, I have experienced a range of different teaching styles and personalities, yet nobody has been able to keep me focused and captivated by music in the way that Lou-Indigo does. In the past, music lessons would always bore me, as I found that my perspective of music being an outlet of creativity would often be tarnished by previous teachers who took too much of a strict, structural approach to music. On the other hand, some other teachers would be too relaxed, often leading to me becoming frustrated by a lack of progress and direction. Lou-Indigo manages to skillfully combine structure, creativity and a relaxed atmosphere into a 60-minute lesson. I am the complete opposite of bored and genuinely look forward to every lesson. Instead of feeling drained after sessions, I feel inspired to learn more. In my opinion, Lou-Indigo does this by crafting just the right amount of challenge into each exercise, enough to give you a sense of progress and achievement, but not too much to make you feel frustrated or overly daunted. Furthermore, his clear explanation of music theory and guitar techniques, evidently backed by years of experience, gives you a deeper insight into music, uncovering the medium's potential for creative expression. I could not recommend Lou-Indigo more.

Great first experience with George! Very friendly and polite. I have had some lessons before, but this is way more personalized and to my liking. We really took the time (almost half of the first session!) to figure out our initial direction, and then we dove straight in. Very knowledgeable on the instrument, he already raised my confidence! Will definitely book again!

Serdane

Serdane is a wonderful teacher. Although my daughter learnt French at school she was very unconfident. Serdane was very sympathetic and gave her interesting material to read, discuss and to learn in class. She also went back to the basics which my daughter had missed out on at school and eventually my daughter graduated with 8.8 in French at the European BAC!
