About Me

Ciao! I'm an Italian student from Milan, currently studying International Studies at Leiden University. I attended a linguistic High school where my major was languages (English, spanish, Chinese), linguistics and literature. I also lived for 6 months in Shijiazhuang 石家庄, China. This class is tailored for people who have zero or limited knowledge in Indonesian. The focus will be on reading and speaking as I believe to be the most crucial parts in learning a language. Listening and writing are also possible if desired.

If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, I have been told that I am quite a good talker and a patient teacher. Studying with me will be fun and not as strict as in the other institutions (unless you want it to be, of course). If you are looking for a tutor for your children, I can accommodate it by teaching it in a fun way; mixing it in interactive games throughout the lesson. If you have any other preference in studying, I am open to suggestions and I will try my best to apply it in my teaching method.

Latin is fascinating and, despite its reputation of being a dead language, it can still be useful today. However, being unique, it is not always easy to understand its grammar and syntax and translating from Latin can be hard. Having studied it since when I was thirteen and with two cum-laude degrees in Classics, I know Latin deeply. Moreover, I have experience in giving classes to high school students, therefore I am aware of its difficulties and I know how to tackle possible hurdles in the most appropriate way for each student.
