Latin and Italian Class: Practicing and Learning easily

Latin is fascinating and, despite its reputation of being a dead language, it can still be useful today. However, being unique, it is not always easy to understand its grammar and syntax and translating from Latin can be hard. Having studied it since when I was thirteen and with two cum-laude degrees in Classics, I know Latin deeply. Moreover, I have experience in giving classes to high school students, therefore I am aware of its difficulties and I know how to tackle possible hurdles in the most appropriate way for each student.
Apart from Latin, I am an Italian native speaker, trained in Italian language and culture. If you want to strengthen or practice your Italian, I am the right person!

Born in Italy, but always dreamed of travelling the world. When I was eighteen, I worked for one month in The Netherlands and I fell in love with this country. After finishing my bachelor's in Milan, Italy, I decided to move to Leiden for my master's, as this beautiful gem in Holland houses one of the most prestigious Classics program in the whole world.

Latin was and remains one of the most historically important languages in Europe. This class will teach you the fundamentals of an ancient and difficult tongue. Classes are flexible depending on the needs and availability of the students. While it may be a challenge, it's also highly rewarding as you can gain a sense of connection to the world with a language with so much history and influence.

I am Lorenzo, an Italian guy studying International Studies in The Hague.
I graduated last year in an Italian high school in Castelfranco Veneto, my hometown.
The school I went to was a “Liceo Scientifico”, characterized for giving an accurate and complete preparation in scientific subjects such as Maths and Physics as well as more humanistic disciplines, for example Latin, Italian literature, Art and Philosophy.
Two years ago I lived for a year in Chile through an exchange program that gave me the chance to study for a year in South America. By staying there I had the opportunity to learn to speak fluently Spanish and to develop a deep interest for South American (especially Chilean) folklore, culture and art.

I'm Antoine, a MSc graduate in Applied Mathematics at TU Delft.

During all of my studies, I have tutored high-schoolers and bachelor students in Mathematics, French and Italian.

Now that I have settled in this new country I would like to start tutoring again. So if you are having a hard time in Mathematics (or in one of those languages) at any level, I will be more than happy to give you all the help you need!

I have tutored both face-to-face and via webcam in the past. I am okay with both methods although I think it is much easier to help out during a live session, therefore I'm okay with moving in the the Hague/Rotterdam zone.
