Hi! I’m Anastasija, a professional jazz pianist with an artistic and pedagogical Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano, with Classical Piano as my secondary subject. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Jazz Piano at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. I have several years of teaching experience and offer individual lessons in jazz, pop and classical piano, with a particular focus on jazz, improvisation and developing your own musical voice. Whether you are a complete beginner, already have some experience, or want to dive deeper into jazz, we can work on improvisation, chords, repertoire, technique, ear training and music theory – always adapted to your interests and goals.

I offer tutoring in math, physics, and chemistry at the secondary level. I can help with reviewing an entire course for an exam, as well as re-explaining a specific, poorly understood concept and then working through it with exercises. My method is based on understanding, not rote memorization: We start with a general exercise, identify areas of weakness, work on them, and then repeat until the concept is fully grasped.

The Human Voice has an intimate and emotional connection with our physical body and mentality, whenever we express ourself through speaking, singing, improvising or simply long to express what words cannot, the voice is one of the most direct and authentic ways to connect with ourselves and with others. Drawing on my professional training in Jazz Vocal at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, my background in Chinese traditional music, and years of personal practice in yoga and qigong, I have developed an organic, embodied approach to vocal expression. Rather than focusing only on vocal technique, I guide students to explore the relationship between breath, body awareness, deep listening, and the natural flow of energy (Qi). Through this process, the voice becomes freer, more grounded, and more expressive. My lessons are open to singers of all levels, as well as anyone who wishes to reconnect with their voice.
