I am a German language private tutor with teaching experience since 2020. I studied in both Greece and Germany and have worked in both countries and also in Switzerland, delivering lessons online as well as in person. I hold an MA along with additional training in language education, and I have experience teaching learners of diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels

Hello everyone! I am an experienced, qualified English teacher from the UK. I speak Spanish to intermediate level, and a little Greek and Arabic. I have a first class bachelors degree in English Literature and Sociology from The University of Leeds in the UK.

I have experience teaching all levels from children as young as 5 years old to proficiency level students. I have taught many different exam boards including IELTS, Cambridge, Trinity and Michigan so I can prepare you for your exams.

My lessons are tailor made for my students. In the initial classes we can discuss your weak areas and I can assess what grammatical or pronunciation areas we need to work on.

Most importantly, my classes are fun and inspiring. I can come to your house, or you may come to mine if you live in Thessaloniki area. In addition, I do online classes.

An introduction to the basic syntactic and grammatical phenomena of the ancient Greek language. We use texts from the ancient Greek Literature (Ancient Greek History, Tragedies and Myths) as well as the Bible or Byzantine Hymnology in order to better understand the structure and way of thinking of the Greek language. The course is addressed to anyone who either has or doesn't have a knowledge of the Greek language. It is built as a personalized course, based on each student's level, motivation and learning needs.

I am a fully qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher living in Thessaloniki. I am a native English speaker from the UK and I also teach French and German. I can prepare you for exams (e.g. LanguageCert IESOL or school exams), help you to improve your conversational skills, explain complicated grammatical concepts or focus on any particular aspects you are interested in. I have four years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults. My lessons are lively and interactive so let's get started!

PGCE (post-graduate teacher training) from the University of Cambridge, UK.

I studied History and Archaeology, I hold a Master of Arts in History, a Phd and Post-doc in Literature for children and young adults and I am a tutor for adults, cerified from the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance. I have 13 year of experience in helping children and adults to learn Greek through specialized courses and to get acquainted with the Greek Culture (Literature, Ancient Greek Mythology, History, Conversational Greek, Walking Greek Lessons, Greek Poems and other interesting ways for practice, such as visits to the museums and cultural sites of Thessaloniki).

I prepare people for exams in the Greek Language-Ellinomatheia levels from A1-C2 and help them to obtain the Certificates from A1-C2 level by the Greek Ministry of Education.My aim is also to help and keep my students motivated and more enthusiastic about the Greek language, etymology, History and culture, make them able to communicate in Greek and introduce them to the Greek habits and traditions.
