My motivation for teaching stems from a desire to share my passion for music with everyone. In my courses, practice and theory have an equal place: technical exercises, clarifications in solfège, chamber music and simple pieces then more complex depending on the student's level and desires. Indeed, you are free to choose what you want to work on, suggest pieces as well as delve deeper into a particular point, a specific technique for the more experienced. Having started playing this instrument at the age of six, my deep attraction to music developed gradually through dance, chamber music and the orchestra in particular. Currently, I give private and group lessons (from musical awakening to more advanced levels) as well as concerts in different venues (churches, performance halls, hospitals, EMS). I was educated at the CRR of Rueil-Malmaison where I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) a few years ago, then at the Geneva Higher School of Music (HEM). For the past ten years, I have been gaining experience in cello and music theory pedagogy, which is constantly evolving and requires ongoing personal reflection on oneself and the student, as well as a certain degree of adaptability.
