With over 10 years of teaching experience in both private and public schools in Moscow, as well as more than a year of teaching in China, I've worked with students of all ages and levels – from absolute beginners to advanced players. I can help you build a solid foundation, improve your intonation and bow control, prepare for exams or performances, or simply play the music you love. I also offer guidance on choosing the right instrument and maintaining it, so you can start on the right foot.

In my lessons, you will learn proper posture, bowing techniques, finger placement, music reading, ear training, and expressive playing – all at your own pace, in a supportive and encouraging environment.

About Me

I have been teaching the violin for over 10 years. During this time, I have worked in private schools and a public music school in Moscow, as well as taught children and adults in China for more than a year. This experience taught me one essential thing: every student is unique, and there is no single "right" way to learn.

My teaching style is gentle, patient, and structured. I believe in creating a learning environment built on trust and respect. I never scold mistakes — instead, we analyze them and turn them into steps forward. I truly enjoy working with young children picking up the violin for the first time, with adult beginners who have always dreamed of playing, and with advanced students preparing for exams or performances.

My ideal students are those who are willing to try, make mistakes, and keep going. I deeply appreciate genuine curiosity and love for music, even if it’s still shy. I can help you choose an instrument, master posture, intonation, bow technique — and, most importantly, enjoy the process of learning. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University.
Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone.

Hi there, I'm a professional violin and viola teacher, teaching in person and online, in English, German or Russian.

Alongside teaching 1:1 and coaching chamber music over the last 12 years, I've led numerous workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ in the UK and taught on the Primary and Senior Arpeggione Viola Courses run by Jacky Woods, coaching some of the UK’s leading young musicians. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I have participated in ESTA conferences across Europe, including at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, and in Valletta, Europe’s cultural capital in 2018.

I regularly prepare his students for auditions, competitions and exams at all levels, and has a holistic teaching style incorporating music theory, aural and sight reading skills and physical awareness. Many of my students have won regional and national competitions and have been accepted into specialist music schools and youth orchestras.

Outside of teaching, I performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, recently including at Kings Place London, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Philharmonie Berlin. I received first prize at the Małopolska competition, the Barbirolli Prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition.

I hold a Masters degree with first class honours from the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, where I studied with Tabea Zimmermann, and the University of Arts, where I studied with Lawrence Power, as well as a Bachelors degree with the same distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I began in the primary department 20 years ago.
