My passion is to share piano music with people who love exploring piano together, be it classical, film , anime music etc. For adult learners, detail theory drill is a must . Total beginners would play nursery rhymes and famous tunes in white keys. Keen on improving class interaction ,student engagement , technique and musical awareness by gamification.
Encourage music theory study as early as possible , especially in the first 10 classes to build solid foundation for a long run. Self made teaching material to customize individual student's need.
Love music history stories and share with students during lesson which enrich the meaning of each pieces we play

With 3 elder siblings playing piano, I grew up listening to classical music. I started at age 8 under the guidance of Shanghai Conservatory of Music renowned pianist ,and Masterclass with renowned piano educators.
Later studied with Artist in Residence in University ,attained BA Music, Major in Piano Performance and Minor in French. Recital pieces include Bach ,Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Schubert ,Debussy, Rachmaninoff.

Expérience / Qualifications
Obtain Advance Cert ,ATCL and Open Competition Champions at age 16. Taught school kids from Czech, Austria, Korea , India group class in international schools, autism kids, retirees, voluntary music classes etc. Students achieved First Prizes and pursued BU music degree, received music scholarship from independent UK leading boys boarding school Tonbridge. ABRSM Grade 5 Theory guarantee pass . Adult students found it very interesting besides their full time heavy workload and busy study schedules like law and medical professionals .
