As a scientist with a PhD in Nuclear Medicine and extensive research experience in molecular biology and pharmacokinetics, I bring a structured yet flexible approach to teaching. My sessions are tailored to each student’s needs, combining conceptual clarity with problem-solving practice. A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous concepts, followed by focused teaching of new material using real-world examples from biology, chemistry, or data science. I incorporate visual aids, analogies, and active recall to ensure long-term understanding. Sessions end with practice questions and discussion. I specialize in teaching high school (pre-university), bachelor's, and master's students in subjects like biology, chemistry, biotechnology, and pharmacology. I also help with thesis writing, experimental design, and understanding research papers.
My teaching suits students preparing for university entrance, science diplomas, or those looking to deepen their understanding for research-oriented careers.

Sanne
***ENGLISH BELOW***
Hello! My name is Sanne (25) and I have a Master's degree in Biochemistry. Starting in September, I will begin obtaining my first-degree teaching qualification in Biology. Besides my passion for laboratory research, I enjoy supporting students with the subject matter and sharing my enthusiasm for the subject. I have already helped more than 20 students with biology, chemistry, and mathematics. I offer tutoring in mathematics (Mathematics A, B, and C).

During the tutoring sessions, we actively work together on assignments, and I help you gain insight into the underlying concepts so that you can eventually tackle problems independently. Making mistakes is, of course, allowed; that is often where you learn the most. Additionally, it is important that you practice independently between lessons. For the lessons, you will need your own (sometimes graphing) calculator.

I offer support with:
- Clearing backlogs
- Specific chapters or topics that are difficult
- Preparation for school exams and central exams (vmbo, havo and vwo)
- VAVO, state examination, and CCVX tracks

Tutoring in pairs or small groups (for example, with classmates) is possible at a lower rate per person. Feel free to contact us for more information!

Home tutoring is available. For this, I charge a travel allowance of €1 per kilometer per session (excluding Apprentus surcharges). Please contact me before booking to discuss the options and additional costs.

Hello! My name is Sanne (25), and I hold a Master's degree in Biochemistry. Starting in September, I will begin training to obtain my first-degree teaching qualification in Biology. Besides my passion for laboratory research, I enjoy supporting students in their learning and sharing my enthusiasm for science. Over the years, I have helped more than 20 students with biology, chemistry, and mathematics. I currently offer tutoring in mathematics (A, B, and C).

During our tutoring sessions, we will actively work through exercises together, and I will help you develop a solid understanding of the underlying concepts so that you can eventually solve problems independently. Making mistakes is completely normal—in fact, it is often one of the best ways to learn. It is also important to practice independently between sessions. You will need your own calculator (sometimes a graphing calculator) during lessons.

I offer support with:
- Catching up on missed material or overcoming learning gaps
- Specific chapters or topics that you find challenging
- Preparation for school exams and final examinations (VMBO, HAVO, and VWO)
- VAVO programs, state examinations, and CCVX preparation

Tutoring in pairs or small groups (for example, with classmates) is available at a reduced rate per person. Feel free to get in touch for more information!
