About Me

I am a Spanish musician based in Geneva since 2019. I have pursued extensive musical training in several European countries, obtaining a Bachelor of Music at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Castilla y León (Spain), a Master of Music Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (Netherlands), as well as a Master of Performance (Soloist Orientation) and a Master of Instrumental Music Pedagogy at the Haute école de musique de Genève (Switzerland). These years of study have allowed me to develop solid technical mastery, great artistic sensitivity, and a rich and open pedagogical vision.

Winner of 19 prizes in international competitions, I have had the opportunity to perform at numerous prestigious festivals across Europe and collaborate with renowned orchestras. I have performed in iconic venues such as the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Victoria Hall in Geneva, and the Konzerthaus in Berlin. At the same time, I have recorded for various European television and radio stations.

Drawn to the saxophone's expressive richness, I am interested in a wide variety of styles and repertoires, from classical to jazz, including world music. This versatility informs my artistic practice as much as my teaching.

For several years, I have been teaching saxophone at various music schools in the cantons of Geneva and Vaud. I support students of all ages and backgrounds, with a personalized, motivating, and caring approach. My goal: to foster each student's passion for music by developing solid technique, a personal artistic sense, and, above all, the joy of playing.

As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years.

Overall, my goal is to allow my students to have fun making music, to express themselves as they wish and hear, with their instrument!
I adapt the rhythm of my teaching, my teaching materials, the choice of songs to each, according to the requests that are made to me. I am a Clarinet, Saxophone and Vocal coach from Zimbabwe with over a decade of teaching and performance experience from leading a successful solo career and working as a music teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz singing from Haute Ecole de Musique (HEMU) Lausanne where I am currently studying a Masters in Jazz Pedagogy. I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Montreal (Canada) and am also pursuing a second Master's degree at the HEM in Geneva.
