My approach to teaching is based on personalisation, ensuring that each student receives lessons tailored to their specific needs and learning style. To promote active participation and optimal learning outcomes, lessons are designed to be structured, interactive and engaging. This combination of face-to-face and participatory learning methods ensures that students fully understand and retain the material. In addition to these active learning strategies, I also use visual aids and illustrations in my lessons. These visual aids serve to reinforce key concepts and deepen the student's understanding of the material, forming a deeper, more holistic understanding of the topic. Once the theory has been covered, I focus not only on the exercises included in the course curriculum, but also on additional, optional exercises designed to provide students with a more complete understanding of the material. These additional exercises are optional, but highly recommended, as they provide students with a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the subject. In conclusion, my approach to teaching is focused on providing students with a personalized and engaging learning experience that promotes active participation and deep understanding. Have you always wanted to close the book? Tried to improvise intuitively? Take the challenge with yourself, you will see how fast you can take the first steps to improvisation! Other styles such as Irish, Country / Bluegrass, Pop are also included in the lessons. Most (classically trained) violinists have no experience in improvising. This method is very accessible and will quickly familiarize you with this.
