These classes are completely adapted to the student's needs and level of understanding of the Portuguese language (A0-C2). The content presented ranges from conversations, tutoring, grammar studies, history, and intercultural exchanges. Usually, a variety of topics are brought to the student (music, movies, etc.) and studies are held in a flexible pass.
The most important is for the student to feel comfortable and learn the language in a fun and easy-going manner.

Extra information

Our first class will be a conversation about your goals and how I can help you reach them at comfortable timing for yourself. The classes are supposed to be a safe space for your learning.

About Me

I have been living abroad for a long time and learned to adapt to intercultural settings and other people's needs. Language barriers are not an issue for me to overcome.
I have taught English and German to non-native speakers in various contexts, from informal friendly meetings to in-class settings in refugee camps.
I am very open minded and love to not only share my experiences but hear and learn more from others everyday.

As I'm myself learning German, I understand the struggles you face when you learn a new language. I know that it is sometimes hard to dive into this new world and how much a safe atmosphere is important when it comes to make this challenge self-rewarding and stay motivated.

That's why, after a first meeting, we'll define together your needs and personal objectives, so that I can adapt my lessons. We'll answer two important questions : what goals do you want to achieve (focus on oral skills, pass an exam, understand verbs’ conjugation...) and how do you personally find motivation ?

Positive emotions and motivation help us memorize better, like repetition. So, depending on which learner you are, we can resort to games, flash-cards, mind-maps, creative activities so as to solicit imagination and have fun... You can propose themes (and I have a bunch in stock), so that I build courses that would help you learning by working on subjects you're interested in.

I love cooking Indian food and make it easy to cook.

I have always watched my grandmother and mother cook home food. It was always nutritious and tasted good.

The balance of spices is really important in Indian cooking.
Spices play a major role in Indian Food and it is super easy to cook delicious Indian food at home.

There are always two ways of cooking food :
1. Take a lot of effort and make it perfect.
2. Make the dish really quickly and the taste would not be perfect but close to perfect.

In these cooking classes, you will learn how to make both ways of cooking.

Indian Food can be made with a lot of fat or also it can be made the healthy way. It's up to how you would like to make the food.

And if you are new to cooking do not worry it's not difficult at all. My grandmother has these ancient recipes that I make now and it's easy to learn.
