...
Hello everyone! Cello is one of the most beautiful instruments. Its sound is so close to the human voice. It sings, but it can be a virtuoso instrument as well! I graduated with honours in 2016 the cello class of professor Jeroen Reuling at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels (Concert Musicus Program). I finished master degree in the Academy of Music in Cracow (Poland) in a class of professor Zdzisław Łapiński. I also studied at the Leopold Mozart Zentrum Univesitat Augsburg within The Erasmus scholarship, in the cello class of professor Julius Berger. In addition I have been taking part in numerous masterclasses led by outstanding artists: Arto Noras, Gary Hoffman, Francois Guy, Ivan Monighetti, Frans Helmerson, J.Meissl, A.Rudin. I also obtained a teaching certificate. During my PhD studies I have been leading classes for students, helping them to master their skills. In 2018 I've been an assistant at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I am the first prize winner and special awards receiver in the following competitions: VII International Cello Competition in Liezen (Austria), VII International Independent Competition "Individualis" in Ukraine, Festival Morningside Music Bridge in Canada, Chamber Concert-Competition during the Young Artists Music Festival in Poznań (Poland), International Summer Academy PragWienBudapest - Prize for an outstanding interpretation of a work of Bohuslav Martinu and Prize for the best String Soloist during the International Summer Academy PragWienBudapest and a Special Prize – CD/DVD Recordings with Hungaroton Music Company and Achord Pictures, II Cello Competition in Warsaw - 1st Prize with honor and Special Prize of the Rector of The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and a laureate: IX Desiderius Danczowski National Cello Competition in Poznan, International Competition Johannes - Andreas Stain Competition in Augsburg (Germany), International Competition “Talents for Europe” in Dolny Kubin (Slovakia), Michal Spisak International Music Competition (Poland) and the Kazimierz Wilkomirski International Cello Competition in Poznan. In 2014 I won a Prize founded by the Polish Minister of Culture and Heritage in the Concert of the Year 2014 organized for the best musicians of the Polish Academies of Music. I was also a participant at the eminent international festivals in different countries: International New Music Festival “Missa Est” in Munich, Kronberg Academy, Young Talent Music Festival in Schiermonnikoog (Holland), European Chamber Music Academy in Vilnius (ECMA), International Musical Enghien Encounters (Belgium), Summer Chamber Music Festival “Wawel at dusk” at the Royal Wawel Castle in Cracow, International Contemporary Music&Visual Arts in Bydgoszcz (Poland), Ohrid Summer Festival (Macedonia), Encuentro de Musica Academia de Santander (Spain), Viana Summer Festival (Portugal). As a soloist I performed under the direction of Krzysztof Penderecki and Jerzy Maksymiuk. I'm giving concerts on the stages of many countries, both as a soloist, chamber and orchestra musician. In 2017 I went for an international tournee (USA) with quintet labeled by Lincoln Center Stage. I recorded for the Academy of Music in Cracow, ORF Radio Kulturhaus in Vienna, Festival “Morningside Music Bridge”, as a member of a cello ensemble “Cello Passionato”– CD “4 for Peace”. She has taken part in the recording of Polish Cello Music – Dux Recordings. I really like to teach. I have very good practicing methods and I make cello playing easy and understandable even for a beginner. I'll be happy to meet you soon and help you to enter into fantastic cello world:)

You want to play the drums? Want to learn how to play your favorite songs and join a group of compos or covers?
I propose an apprenticeship based on musicality and efficiency. Technical, certainly, but always in the service of music, songs that we want to play. Because is not this the primary goal of the apprentice drummer / learn to play his favorite songs? Then: join a group, and be able to place themselves effectively on compositions. Pop, rock, funk, rockabilly, soul, RNB, blues, country, swing, disco, hard rock, electro, and more! These courses are intended for children as well as adults. I put at your disposal syllabuses with course notes and didactic videos. Feel free to come with your own requests! Except for the extreme metal: I have nothing against, simply I am not expert in blast beat and co, I can nevertheless recommend experts in the field. TIMES : I teach: - Monday and Tuesday in Chênée; - Wednesday in Jupille; - Friday at Cointe; - Saturday and Sunday in Baelen. Also : - Organization of internships during school holidays; - Ensemble course and learning modules "How to play with a bass player"; - Demos, interactive animations and clinics; - Tuning, adjustments and maintenance; - Member of the Belgian Society of Authors, Composers and Publishers. Contact me for any additional information!

Piano lessons - music theory and harmony - for any level
I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Piano Lessons in Classical and Contemporary Styles for Beginning-Advanced Levels (ages 6 and up)
Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

(LIVE or ONLINE!) Piano, improvisation, composition and music theory lessons
I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

Online Piano Class - Private Piano Lesson in English
Hi! I am a piano teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. I specialize in online piano teaching and I choose individual program for each of my students. I teach all around the globe, mostly students from China and Canada. I grew up in family of musicians. My father plays the viola in Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Poland and my mother teaches theory and history of music. I have two sisters who are also musicians. I like sport activities like climbing, cycling, hiking and long walks in the forest. I like Asian and Italian cuisine. My favourite meals are sushi, ramen, pizza and spaghetti pasta. If you want to listen to how I play, here is a link to Gala Concert from Vancouver, Canada: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8B63AO5spDo A few words about my past music experience: Originally from Poland, I studied in Katowice at Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music (2012-2017) in piano class of professors Anna Górecka and Zbigniew Raubo. Later I moved to Canada to continue my education with professor Lee Kum Sing at Vancouver Academy of Music (2017-2019). During my career I have achieved numerous awards on many significant piano competitions. I become platinum winner at Vancouver International Music Competition in 2017 which was held to celebrate 150th Canada’s birthday. I became Platinum Cash Prize Winner and achieved numerous extra prices. In October 2015 I accomplished the second round of XVII International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. This achievement is a promotion to the top 30 world best young pianists. I achieved 3rd place twice (2013, 2015) in the National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. In 2008, I won the first prize and the Special Award of Elżbieta Stefańska for the best performance of Johann Sebastian Bach piece at the 10th Ludwik Stefański and Halina Czerny-Stefańska Piano Competition in Płock, Poland. Two years later I received second price in the 16th Polish Piano Competition in Konin, Poland and I was awarded the third prize at the International Podkarpacki Chopin Competition held in Rzeszów, Poland. I have been awarded many scholarships, such as those sponsored by the Mayor of my hometown Katowice, the Marshal of Silesian Province and the Polish Prime Minister. I cooperated with Piotr Kler Foundation and recorded three solo CDs with Fryderyk Chopin's music. In 2014 I was the very first to receive a Krystian Zimerman Award for most talented young pianists.

Private guitar lessons for every level: from basic chords to out of the box improvisation
Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. Be sure to let me know if you have any questions and I will answer as soon as possible. See you soon! Richard PS: my specified hours are a guideline, if this does not suit you, you can certainly send us a message and we will try to arrange something :)

John
Professional jazz musician teaching jazz, blues, funk, R&B, pop, rock, latin and classical piano.
I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.
