Music lessons: Composition, Piano, History and Theory (En and Pt)

I specialize in teaching about Music and how to play the Guitar. In class, I always make the effort of understanding what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their own skills. This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. I believe that an honest and friendly relationship between teacher and student is essential for this exchange of ideas to happen more clearly and fluently, and so I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share their own thoughts freely. I offer good and personalized classes. This means that there will special care with your interest in music and guitar, all basic skills will be worked upon and strengthened, all specific requests and ideas will be addressed, both improvisation and interpretation can be developed and exploring potential, achieving goals and having fun are main priorities. Do you want to learn how to compose your own music? Do you want to be able to express yourself and put your own thoughts in musical form? In this Classical Composition or Songwriting class, that's exactly what we'll be focusing on! You can choose to focus on composing classical music, using scores, or creating your own songs, either for you or other people to sing. You will learn music theory, learn how to use music software like reaper, ableton, sibelius or musescore, and you'll work alongside me to discover your own voice in music making. My name is Bernardo and I am a composer from Portugal who specializes and studies contemporary classical music. I also create my own songs in a singer-songwriter style and I have made music for film and videogame. I am currently doing a master's in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp where I study with Wim Henderickx. I have studied in the past with composers such as Luís Tinoco, Carlos Caires and Eurico Carrapatoso. My works have been played in several European concert halls and I have in my portfolio works for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, orchestra and choir. I am also currently doing a bachelor's in singing at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, so if you are a singer-songwriter, we can also work on your own voice.

I start playing violin when I was 5 years-old, and since then I never stoped. I thank my first teachers for passing me the entusiasm, passion and love for playing violin when I was a child. So... I would love to pass the same feeling to my students, to have fun while playing violin and learning new music! I adapt to the needs of every student, and from the first lesson together we define what are our goals and how we can reach them. If possible I would also like to do group lessons (with all the students), because I find it really important to do music together and share experiences.

Hello everyone! My name is Blanca and I am a Master student in the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen. I offer private music and piano lessons, at your place or even online. I have been teaching children and adults since I am 17, and I have been working in a lot of private schools, as well my own private students. My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument. Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students. If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

I am a Master student of Violoncello in the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen and I offer private music and cello lessons! I have experience teaching to children all ages and adults too. We can also organize music lessons for small groups of children (friends, family...) I am very enthusiastic and I adapt the content to your level. I will start learning Dutch as well, so soon enough I will be able to do the lessons in Dutch too!
