Are you a beginner on the flute and do you want to learn how to get that beautiful flute sound out of your instrument? Or do you have a lot of experience and you want to take your playing to a higher level and be able to make music in your orchestra or ensemble more easily?

Looking for a professional, enthusiastic and motivating flute teacher in Amsterdam? That's me! My name is Konstantinos and I am a flutist and flute teacher in Amsterdam and I enjoy giving flute lessons to beginners and advanced students. Children, young people, and adults; everyone is welcome!

As a flute teacher, I have several years of experience and teaching is one of my passions. Whether you are an accomplished musician or a beginner, I can help you play the piece that you like at your own pace and achieve your goals. My teaching style pays attention to a good posture, breathing technique, tone development (legato, staccato, dynamics), musicality, interpretation and of course personal attention and cozy atmosphere.

Flute Lessons Beginners
Together we prepare an individual program that meets your needs and wishes. During the lessons we go for a relaxed good posture, you’ll learn a good breathing technique to play with beautiful sounds. After, we'll begin by learning to repeat melodies, playing them by ear and by copying rhythmic patterns to develop a sense of rhythm and musicality. Along the way you learn to read music notes and simple music theory, so you can quickly play fun songs from sheet music!

How to find an Instrument?
I gladly help you find a good and affordable flute. Either rent or buy.

Flute Duets

During the lessons, we will also play flute duets. This is always a lot of fun, and this way we’ll prepare you for playing together with other instrumentalists. The coolest thing there is!

Advanced
A typical lesson may consist of working through scales, etudes, and repertoire. Incorporating the development of technique, breathing, articulation, embouchure development. I have extensive experience as a performing musician and I am happy to help you with a solo repertoire in various styles and of course orchestral and chamber music parts. Learn to play legato, staccato, from pianissimo to fortissimo with a bright and warm sound, music comprehension, rhythm study, and overall musicianship.

I'm an oboe player who recently graduated from the Masters at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam where I as well have done my bachelor degree. I'm from Mexico and I've been living in the Netherlands for over 7 years. I love working with kids but as well with adults and any person who's motivated and willing to learn this beautiful instrument at any level. I can teach you how to read notes, rythms, harmonies, etc. I speak Spanish, Engllish, French, Italian and some Dutch. Depending on your goals we can make a fun programme and play any kind of music you are interested on!

I can teach you how to play across several appointments during the week so you'll learn faster and enjoy playing straight from the beginning :)

I am currently studying pop/rock drums at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht.
I play in 2 bands. I also play in many different session projects (from pop to rock). I work a lot with hybrid drums (triggers and SPD) and also teach them with Ableton.

The studio is located in the Q-Factory in Amsterdam with two professional drum kits and sound system.
In addition, I can occasionally offer a lesson in Utrecht!
If all this is too far or for some other reason not reachable, lessons at home and / or online are also possible!

We can work on, among other things:
- Hand technique (how do I hold my sticks? Or which stick technique do I use for different music styles?)
Creativity (how can I ultimately make cool parts on the drums myself? Or different parts than what you initially came up with?)
- Improvisation (lots of playing and trying!)
- Timing (playing along with songs, with click tracks, how can I become more playful with the click?)
- Relaxed posture
- Drum notation (learning to read drum notes)
- New fills, grooves and beats

My name is Mathilde, I am a French violinist, pianist, harpsichordist, producer and composer.
I have graduated from the world’s great institutions such as the Royal College of Music London, Manhattan School of Music New-York, Brussels Royal Conservatory, and Paris-Sorbonne University (in musicology).
I have been performing concerts around the world in the most prestigious concert halls including the Châtelet Theatre and Seine Musicale (Paris), the National Opera House (Oman) and La Scala (Milan), as well as many other venues in Europe, US, China, Middle-East. During this period of time, I had been playing in the Orchestra Academy of La Scala in Milan for 2 years, and I am currently playing at the Metropole Orkest in Amsterdam.

With the experiences I gained over the years - including the teaching experience in the Conservatory of Cambrai (France) - I became an expert in teaching violin and keyboards as well as music theory, including writing and reading scores. I have been teaching to the different age groups and different levels of technical backgrounds (beginner or advanced). I can easily adapt myself to the level of each student to create a synchronicity and help them pursue their goals and wishes. I am there to help them as a teacher and a music coach for their musical career. I can combine different practices and teach basic techniques in repertoire that matches the personality of the student (from classical to contemporary, pop, rock and more). Based on the teaching experiences I have, I can consider myself as a teacher with patience, motivating style and an open mind. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam.
