I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and have recently started my Master’s degree in Classical Piano at the same conservatory. In my lessons, we can work on piano technique, musical expression, interpretation, repertoire, sight-reading and performance skills. I teach both classical and pop piano, and I adapt each lesson to the student’s individual goals, level and interests. My courses are created focusing on the goals, the interests and the learning abilities of my students. I use the web to simplify the communication with e-learning, schemes, and test/games also online, adapted to the language that you want to learn. The platforms that I use are a way to keep a continued connection with the lessons that you followed at any moment, just checking on your phone.

I believe music is for everyone and anyone can be a good musician, given enough patience and effort. I chose guitar because it is simply one of, if not, the most versatile and "alive" instrument out there. Here, my aim is to teach you everything that I know regardless of your experience. From basic chords to learning how to improvise and, why not, write your own songs at some point.

If you feel discouraged or overwhelmed by the technical aspects of a creative process, this is the lesson for you. In these lessons, we will work on making the most of what we have through creative-problem solving and inspiration-hunting. You bring your ideas and we develop them together, have challenging conversations and explore alternative approaches to composition, production and songwriting to get you closer to your vision. We will also explore the many possibilities of working with a live band, ensemble or orchestra and how to encourage a healthy but focused work process. For me, lessons are not about rushing through theory or trying to sound “correct” as quickly as possible. They’re about finding what excites you, understanding the music you already love, and building the skills to play, create, and express yourself with confidence. Lessons can focus on one area or combine things naturally — for example, learning guitar while writing your own songs, or using Ableton to develop an idea into a full arrangement. My goal is to keep music curious, practical, and enjoyable, and to help each student find their own way into it.

Hello! My name is Jade. I’m an undergraduate student and have been playing the piano for 15 years; I graduated from the Geneva Conservatory. In my lessons, I focus on practice and improving technique. Although I have prepared lessons and pieces, I give my students a great deal of freedom in choosing their sheet music, the intensity of their lessons, and the type of instruction they need. I see the piano as a passion and, above all, an art form which, as such, shouldn’t become a source of stress or frustration. We’ll make progress through small successes and can explore a variety of genres, from classical music to songs, pop, and even film scores. My priorities are for students to learn the notes and develop the ability to read sheet music easily, as well as rhythm and interpretation.
