Would you like to learn classical guitar with a solid technique, a beautiful sound and a better understanding of music? I offer personalized classical guitar lessons for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced students. Each lesson is adapted to the student's level, musical interests and personal goals. During the lessons, we can work on: • Classical guitar technique and healthy posture • Music reading, rhythm and music theory • Tone production, coordination and musical expression • Repertoire adapted to your level and interests • Effective and structured practice methods • Preparation for examinations, auditions and performances • Solutions for tension and specific technical difficulties My teaching combines technical development with musical expression. I do not only correct mistakes: I help students understand how to practice efficiently and become more confident and independent musicians. I hold a Master of Arts in Music from the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp and graduated with honors from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I have approximately 15 years of experience as a classical guitarist and five years of teaching experience in schools. Lessons are available in person in Edegem and nearby areas, or online. I hold a Master's degree in Jazz Trumpet and a Master's degree in Education, combining high-level artistic training with a deep understanding of how people learn. My goal is not only to help you play better but to teach you how to practice effectively, so you continue making progress long after each lesson. I perform weekly across a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, pop, funk, rock, soul, reggae, and african music. In addition, I'm bandmember of Lucid Lucia, Hnita Bigband, Nana Osei, Nuff Said, Jazbyssinia and The Very Bigband. Throughout my career, I've shared the stage with renowned artists including John Clayton, Joe Bowie (Defunkt), Chris Potter, Bert Joris, Jef Neve, Gregory Hutchinson, Frank Vaganée, Zap Mama, Manou Gallo, Amir Sulaiman, K.ZIA, Selah Sue, and many others. This real-world experience allows me to connect jazz improvisation with practical musicianship and the skills needed to become a versatile performer. Every student is different, so lessons are tailored to your goals, experience, and musical interests. What does a lesson look like? My philosophy is simple: practice is key. We dive into theory where necessary, but the goal is always to help you play better, not to rote learn. I want to get you ready as quickly as possible to play in a band, join a jam session, or simply play the music you love to hear. These are the standard ingredients of my lessons: - Songs & Repertoire: We'll quickly start by playing along to songs you enjoy. This way, you'll immediately put your technique into practice. - Creativity & Songwriting: You learn not only to play by ear, but also to create your own. How do you build a good bass line? How do you make sure it fits the drums? We work on your own musical voice. - Ear Training & Jamming: Do you want to be able to play along without sheet music? We train your ears so you recognize chords and melodies faster. We conclude every lesson with a short moment of improvisation: just dare to play and listen to what works. Feeling a bit stressed about improvising? No problem, so am I. I’ll happily help you through it, so you feel at ease in any setting. - Technique & "Theory at your fingertips": 1. We learn the neck of the bass blindly (where are the notes?). 2. We practice scales, modes, arpeggios, and inversions. Not as boring sequences, but as building blocks for creating more interesting bass lines. 3. For those who can read sheet music, we also include sight-reading. Can't read sheet music, but want to learn? Great, we'll do that. 4. We learn to play along with chord progressions. For absolute beginners: Have you just started? Then we will take our time to get the basics right. You will get to know the instrument well, and we will also cover music theory in an accessible way, so that you have a solid foundation. The end goal? That you feel confident on stage or in a rehearsal room, know what you're doing, and above all: enjoy playing.

Milica is very meticulous and a very good pedagogue. My son has prior knowledge in music, but not in the piano. She explains very well to children and adapts the concept of work in accordance with the knowledge of the child. I highly recommend her.

Excellent teacher: he listens carefully to your needs and he adapts his lessons to your level. Native speaker! Friendly, professional and overall a very nice person to work with
