Trusted teacher: I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching). The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works. I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively. I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world. Do not hesitate to contact me to book a lesson, places are quickly taken. Trusted teacher: I've been teaching English to small children up to teenagers at École Française Internationale. I give lessons for beginners and intermediate levels. I mix between French and English so the pupil doesn't get too confused, but also allows them to understand every detail. For beginners, we usually talk about our surroundings, what's close to us and what affects us on a daily basis. (Numbers, directions, the weather, asking simple questions, what's a noun and pronoun and where to put them in a sentence). I like to find playful activities so that the pupil/student is in control of their work. It also stimulates their motivation. Of course, this is an example for a certain age group, but it also varies depending on their knowledge and their age. For intermediates, we make basic conversation. Ex: How do you go to school; What do you do in your free time? ; What's the weather like? The lessons depend on whether the student is learning for their personal knowledge or if it's for school. -------------------------------- The start of the course with a new learner consists of detecting their level by talking about their background, what they already know, what they must master in order to no longer have any gaps. The first lesson also allows the learner to get comfortable and get to know me to establish mutual trust. That’s why I use a touch of my British humor to achieve this. (I generally do this at the start of the lesson with my students to establish a good mood and they are always delighted!) To help the learner better engage with the learning, I will ask them what their passions/hobbies are, this who interests him to arouse interest in learning. I will adapt my lessons on subjects that speak to him more. Depending on age and level of knowledge of English, the method will vary. I play with songs if it's for vocabulary or accent, it helps me memorize better and what's better in song... Everyone listens to music! Nana is an excellent and fun teacher. I can really recommend her to anybody who wants to improve their French. I wanted to gain confidence in speaking French, so we chose the format of going for walks in different parts of Brussels. This way we had conversations whilst also exploring the city beyond the well-trodden paths. Nana is a perfect match if you want to leave the expat bubble and meet some real Belgians. But she is also fluent in English and has teaching experience abroad. If I couldn’t think of a word in French I would just use the English one and she would translate. As the weather gets colder, we will have to adapt our method, but I’m sure that will work out. I am looking forward to my next lesson with Nana.

Yukeyee is incredible and absolutely perfect for our 12-year-old child. We love her style, and surprisingly, my daughter isn’t pushing back against the lessons instead, she’s actually looking forward to them. Yukeyee makes learning fun and interactive, bringing lots of creative ideas and games to engage the kids. She’s always on time and flexible with how we configure the lessons. We’re so grateful we found her, and it always feels good to watch my daughter interact with her in French. Highly recommended and absolutely great teacher to work with.
