Trusted teacher: The technology to improve your French. Classes with a certified native teacher. Hello Bonjour! I am a native French teacher and a graduate in French Philology since 2012. I have 10 years of experience in Belgium and abroad. I offer online classes using a method that I have developed over the years, specifically for online classes. *My method:* -During class we focus on speaking. Outside of class, I will send you exercises that I will correct every week (grammar, conjugation, writing...). -I use a particular technique based on questions/answers to apply the grammar when speaking. -I use the verbotonal method to correct pronunciation. -You will also receive access to an application for your Smartphone (to learn the vocabulary). -Use an interactive whiteboard. -We will use a shared online notebook to correct your exercises and ask me your questions at any time of the day. I offer preparation for official exams (DELF, DALF, TCF, EOI, FIDE in Switzerland...). Classes for beginners, intermediate or advanced levels. Preparation of conferences or talks for business people. Job interviews. The class is a bit different when I work with children or teenagers. I use interactive websites and letters. Trusted teacher: I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student with a Masters in International Public Law (Amsterdam) and a Masters in Global development (University of Copenhagen). World traveler, I have lived in Thailand, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, US, Switzerland and many more countries, where I both dtudies and worked as a legal advisor. I have been tutoring since 2017, both in person, in schools and online, since 2017, I have been working with around 250 students, located everywhere in the world! Here is an overview of my previous tutoring experience: 2022-Now: Online tutoring on Apprentus, (approx 12h/week). 2023: Tutor of Dutch at Varady Language school in Geneva 2021-2022: I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus. 2021: Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French. 2017-2020: I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English. During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework. I can teach French, Dutch, and English, Spanish and in German, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills. Je prends des cours d’indonésien avec Petra depuis deux mois et elle m’a fait progresser rapidement. Toujours souriante, à l’heure, elle prend le temps de bien expliquer les choses et la méthode d'apprentissage qu’elle propose est vraiment efficace. I have been taking Indonesian lessons with Petra for two months and she has helped me to improve quickly. 'Langmethod' French Lessons are an excellent method to learn French. Laurie is very patient and speaks French throughout the lesson, and even though I have to crack my brain sometimes to understand it, it helps in the long run. Had my first lesson with Cuihong and really enjoyed it. She helped me with basic pronunciation (so good help for a complete beginner like me) and taught me some interesting tidbits. She was also very quick and reliable to answer my mails through Apprentus, and is a friendly person. Looking forward to continuing lessons with her!
