About Me

Private violin and music theory lessons for all ages and all levels in Brussels. The instrument is not supplied.

I am a student at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels in 2nd year. I obtained the DEM (Diploma of musical studies) at the Conservatoire de Paris in 2017.

I have participated in many workshops and music festivals in France and abroad, acquiring new methods of learning and work, under the guidance of very good teachers. Several times I have had violin competitions in several countries, most recently the Glazunov contest in Paris, to which I won a 2nd prize.

I have had the opportunity several times to teach beginner or intermediate children during music courses or even during the year. I am a motivated student, taking students' expectations seriously to help them progress.

I have always been in double degree schools, combining school classes and conservatory, which has immersed me in the musical universe since very young.

I have taught several students in the past, including intensive daily support for a young violinist during a music course. I helped him work while guiding him through technical exercises.

The music workshops in which I participated have brought me a lot in my personal game but also in the way of teaching, which is also very rewarding for a musician.

I am a violin teacher and violinist. Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. In addition, my educational background combined with the unique experience and knowledge given to me by my relatively recent motherhood and my love for children and other human beings, has led me to pursue positive teaching with empathy towards the student who aims to make him happy, to love music and to acquire a solid basis for his overall development! During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.
