Welcome to Biology 101, an introductory class designed to explore the fundamental principles of biology. This course provides a comprehensive overview of the structure, function, and interactions of living organisms. Students will engage in a variety of learning activities including lectures, laboratory experiments, and group discussions to gain a solid understanding of key biological concepts. - **Cell Biology**: Study of the structure and function of cells, including cell theory, cellular organelles, and cell division. - **Genetics**: Exploration of inheritance, DNA structure and function, gene expression, and genetic technology. - **Human Biology**: Overview of human anatomy and physiology, including major systems such as circulatory, respiratory, and nervous systems. **Laboratory Component:** Hands-on laboratory exercises will complement lecture topics, providing practical experience in scientific methods, data collection, and analysis.
