My approach is based on participatory pedagogy. I firmly believe that learning is most effective when it is progressive and interactive. My goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable to practice and experiment without fear of making mistakes. I believe that English theory and grammar are more accessible in a relaxed learning environment, where I will try to adapt to your level and where we will progress together at your pace, step by step. My lessons will be modeled on the needs of each student, and it can include learning grammar, such as oral practice, correcting homework but also preparing for an exam or a partial. It is also possible to work on another skill (hearing, reading) through the use of several diversified resources (articles, film extracts, auditions, etc.) I expect my students to be motivated in order to maximize the chances of you progressing and doing good work together.
