Bonjour ! I’m Mélanie — a native French teacher (and English too 😄) based in Nice.

I help learners of all levels make real progress in French — without boring or overly academic lessons. My approach is dynamic, personal, and focused on what truly matters to you: speaking naturally, feeling confident, and enjoying the process.

Over the past few years, I’ve guided hundreds of students to excellent results by using creative, interactive methods adapted to their goals — whether that’s improving conversation, preparing for exams, or learning for travel or work.

I also offer “in-context” French lessons, where we can practise French in real situations — at a café, museum, market, or walking through the old town. It’s a fun, immersive way to learn that makes the language come alive.

Each lesson is tailored to your needs, pace, and personality — so you’ll always feel supported and motivated.

History Student Private lessons given during the summer period allow students to deepen their courses and to resolve their shortcomings before the start of school. I propose deepening in history and French and Spanish. I am willing to help the students to the baccalaureate.

I teach in several areas, I have many availabilities.

My teaching methodology is to learn with concrete examples and practice, to enable students to make connections and understand more effectively.

I offer educational preparation for kindergarten and for children, to better understand the mastery of the French language in primary and facilitate the transition to CP. For the little ones, I can read stories and have a very educational approach. Learning from should not be seen as a constraint!
I also offer help with homework at primary, middle and high school levels. I can help with the preparation of the French language test.
Also, I am available to help you work on French diction and articulation.
I am attentive and I know how to adapt to the different needs of each person.
I am not doing a course at the moment because I do not have time to prepare, but if necessary I can do it this summer.

AESH (formerly) AVS School Life Assistant, I have a great habit of accompanying dyslexic students, dysorthographies also having concentration problems.
I adapt my French lessons or tutoring according to each student, especially students who have learning difficulties.
The goal is that the student for tutoring finds his method of work
French as a Foreign Language course for children and adults, beginners or not.
I only travel by electric bike. Possibly by public transport (en+)

• Methodology: How do we analyze a subject? How do we identify a problem and a plan?
• Writing style: How can I make my texts clear and pleasant to read? How to interest and support the corrector?

Working on the dissertation and other writings will allow you both to achieve your academic goals but also to develop your critical, analytical and argumentative thinking skills.

Holder of a master's degree in Project Engineering, I give tutoring courses in all subjects.
Having had many experiences abroad (humanitarian, volunteering), I speak English and Spanish.

As an official examiner of the TCF French Knowledge Test (2023-2028), I know the exam very well and I offer preparation courses for the different tests making up the test:
