My dream as a kid was to form a band and tour the world.
I sat behind the drums for the first time when I was nine years old and I was self taught until the age of eighteen.
After I graduated, I had already toured in Greece with different artists and fellow musicians and I started teaching. That was when I realized how important music is or can be for someone, and how fulfilling is to expand and share your thoughts, knowledge and experience.

I am an enthusiastic and experienced teacher, who provides lessons for Spanish, Business, Flute, and English ranging from beginner to an advanced level.

I have been learning Spanish for 6 years. During my lessons I help students learn and correctly pronounce vocabulary, grammar, reading, speaking, writing and understanding Spanish. I use various teaching methods suited to student’s level and age. I speak to my students mostly in Spanish and repeat with them keywords/phrases so that their knowledge is more enhanced.

I also provide flute lessons. I have been playing flute for 13 years and I have achieved a Grade 8 certificate.

I also offer lessons for Business up to the level of A-level. I am currently studying Business Management at university and tutor several areas of business, such as accounting and finance, operations, marketing, HR as well as digital side of the business, like how to generate leads, create a social presence as a business, etc.

BIOGRAPHY:

Juan was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of nine he started teaching himself how to play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums; before joining local bands and performing around the country.

After studying sound engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Lanús, he worked as a live sound engineer and separately on a number of music productions in his home studio. He also trained as a luthier/guitar technician, building and repairing stringed instruments alongside his father, using his surname as a brand.

In 2014 Juan moved to London to develop his skills and connections. His passion and commitment to music led him to working at guitar repair workshops around the capital city, including Camden Town and the well-known Denmark Street. He repaired guitars for artists like the legendary Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka, Grammy-winners Mumford & Sons, and King Krule. He later taught Brit Award-winners Bastille how to play the traditional rhythms of his home country.

In 2017, Juan started composing a wide range of music genres for all kinds of audio-visual media productions, including advertising campaigns for: Samsung, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Nesquik, Avon and Breil

At the same time, he played with a host of different bands as a guitarist, and busked around town. Juan was hired to work as a guitar technician at Abbey Road on live recording sessions. During this period spent in the studio, mastering engineer Wharton spotted Juan’s potential and encouraged him to focus more of his attention on writing, releasing and performing his own material

I studied drums, congas, timbales and other percussions with remarkable teachers with particular attention to Cuban techniques and developing my own style in jazz improvisation and I can pass on my skills with individual lessons or for little groups (max 3) by teaching drums, congas, latin percussions and jazz improvisation. I aim to teach in a joyful way with relaxing drum circle when in a group in order to create a team spirit instead of a competitive one within a no judgemental environment that can allow to make you feel at your ease and express the best of you.

This is a class intended for anyone looking to improve their musicianship and keyboard skills. Whether you're interested in playing classical music or popular tunes this class is meant to give you the technical guidance and musical knowledge required to achieve your goals.

Hello, my name is Sebastián, I have been a guitarist for 20 years, I have a master's degree in education and 10 years of experience teaching music.

I have designed this course to cover the concepts of notes, chords and arpeggios, intervals, harmony (classical and jazz), rhythmic figures, scales, etc. My goal is to be able to give you this knowledge so that you can apply it on a daily basis with your favorite instrument.

I always make sure all pupils enjoy their lessons giving a friendly and fun approach to them. Regardless of age and skill level I want my students to be able to enjoy their time practicing and playing. I can prepare students for all grades of the ABRSM or other boards exams and I complement the lessons with music theory and aural skills training when needed. I can also offer music theory lessons that being to complement music education, prepare for the ABRSM music theory exams or just to expand the knowledge in that area.
The approach for in-person and online tuition are quite similar. I effectively teach using both methods with great results in both. When online, I make sure they are of exceptional quality and the pupil gets the same results they would get in person. They are ideal if traveling is a limitation for the student or just want to take them from the comfort of their home using their own instrument.

Chamber Music/Theory teacher, soloist, orchestra leader, chamber musician, and jury

I have graduated in Violin at the Conservatory of Music "G.P. da Palestrina" of Cagliari-
Italy and in Viola at the Conservatory of Music "G. Verdi" of Milan-Italy.
My professional activity led me to work in several orchestras as performer, and in various
music schools as upper- string and chamber music teacher.
I lived and worked in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and since 2012 I made
London my home, where I developed further teaching experience within the British
system.
I have also founded "The Geminiani Project" of which I am
the director and the leader of the Camerata Geminiani, ensemble that has been invited to
perform in England, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Denmark, and Sweden.
At the same time I have established my ensemble, I have also launched the Geminiani
Youth Orchestra (formed by young musicians aged 6 to 17 years old) as I believe in the
importance of giving an opportunity to young players to perform together, and the
amateur ensemble Hampton Chamber Orchestra; we performed with both orchestras at
various venues in London.
Regarding my teaching technique, I believe that each student is different and unique, so
the first thing I try to do is to establish a connection, then I try to understand the major
skills and major difficulties of the student in order to develop a personalised system; I pay
much importance also to the emotional aspect the student is dealing with in order to build
passion and love for music.
I strongly believe that, once achieved a technical skill, the student must have the chance to
play with the teacher and with other students, and feel the excitement of making music
together.
I have experience in preparing students for auditions, competitions, or ABRSM/Trinity
exams with excellent results; I love what I do and I love to see my pupils achieving high
level results.
Some of my students have been awarded at international competitions, some other former
students are covering leading roles in international orchestras or in chamber ensembles.

My name is Andrea, I have recently concluded my Artist's Master in keyboard instruments at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. My passion for music induced me to apply in the “Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria” in the course of Harpsichord as my principal study. After 10 years studying music and obtaining the diploma of “Grado de Enseñanzas Profesionales” in the conservatory, I developed a deep interest for Classical and Early music for keyboard instruments.

Discovering a historical and musical universe, I decided to continue my performing and theoretical investigation studying the bachelor course in keyboard instruments including piano, harpsichord and organ. I had the amazing opportunity to obtain a scholarship and study at the "Conservatorio Tartini di Trieste", in Italy. Working with exceptional teachers, i was able expand my linguistic abilities and cultural appreciation for the expressive diversity of Keyboard music. I have discovered the magnificent variety between many composers all around Europe and the distinct features and techniques they utilized to improvise and to embellish their pieces. During this artistic journey, i have had extraordinary performance experiences as a soloist including playing at the Parlament of Brussels and the National Gallery in Bosnia. Recently, living in London has inspired me to take part in a wide variety of exciting projects such as performing as a keyboard accompanist in Opera Scenes and with the Guildhall Baroque Orchestra in the Milton Court Concert Hall.
