Maths can be very frustrating and boring, but only because it is not taught in the right way. There are many different approaches to learn maths, it just takes a bit of help to find out which is the best for you, and that's what I am here for!
I am a maths and physics tutor for all school students, I have been tutoring since I was in highschool. From all these years I know one thing, everybody can be good at maths, it is just a matter of perspective!

Before the first class I would need to know about your level to prepare the class so we make the most of it from the first minute.

I have been an examiner for AQA and am familiar with both AQA and Edexcel GCSE and A-level specifications, having taught the Edexcel spec before. I have tutored French to children (beginner to bilingual) and adults. The planning and delivery of my classes will be dependent on the individual needs of my students.

I have also worked as a primary school teacher and am an excellent teacher of primary school maths and English.

My courses are aimed at all those who have difficulties or just want to progress in maths, from primary school to high school.
Depending on the field, I can also teach subjects at university undergraduate level.
My name is Hugo, and I am currently in my postgraduate year in a MSc. Robotics at Heriot-Watt University, in Edinburgh.
I have experience in private teaching ; in France, I taught maths and physics to several high school students.
By taking into account my own experience, I think that it is essential to focus on practice, on exercises to succeed; in my opinion, this is the way that mathematics rules and theorems are most easily memorised.

I focus on allowing a student to improve mathematics skills at all levels. Specialising in Maths SQA exams: nat 5, higher & advanced higher. I can provide homework to keen learners and aim to keep a student challenged, motivated and in a state of continual improvement.

I am able to tutor from 1st to early 3rd level in numeracy, literacy (reading, writing and spelling) and 1st and second level French. I have experience with a range of literacy/reading programmes and with supporting ASN pupils. I am a multilingual primary teacher offering tuition in all primary subjects, language tuition as well as bespoke homeschooling/travelling tutor services.
I have worked in the state sector as class teacher for 5 years before moving into the private sector in 2021. Since then, I have been working as a teacher/tutor/governess within private households to provide homeschooling and travel tutoring services to families and children.
I teach all primary subjects as well as support with behaviour, learning how to learn, teaching children with additional support needs and language tuition. I am a native English, German and Russian speaker and speak fluent French, so can offer all four languages for tuition.
If required, I am happy to provide bespoke homeschooling services and am well-versed in accommodating a school curriculum whilst travelling. Rates vary upon discussion of a tailored program.
My teaching philosophy is to foster enquiring minds by making learning active and fun. I always strive to get to know my pupils as quickly as possible to ensure I can incorporate their interests my lessons, regardless of the subject.
