Hoi!

Ik ben Caitlin en sta al 8 jaar op een podium met verschillende projecten. Naast frontzangeres bij mijn eigen band BLOND, ben ik ook backing vocalist en bassiste bij o.a. BLUAI en Judith Kiddo.

Zingen doe ik al heel mijn leven en ik doe niets liever. In al die jaren, ben ik op mijn pad op verschillende problemen gebotst en techniek moeten aanwerven. Zing jij ook graag maar is het soms moeilijk om toon te houden, ben je soms buiten adem tegen het einde van je zanglijn of krijg je bepaalde noten niet in het juiste timbre gezongen? Dan heb ik een hele reeks tips en tricks voor jou die mij ook erg geholpen hebben.

Acerca de mí

Bij mij kan je vooral terecht voor een hele persoonlijke aanpak. Muziek, en vooral zingen, raakt heel dicht aan jezelf. Daarom hecht ik er enorm veel waarde aan dat leerlingen zich op hun gemak voelen.

Naast zelf op een podium staan, geef ik workshops in Trix (pop en rock kamp, start your band) maar heb ook een tijd lang muziekles aan kinderen en mensen met een beperking gegeven. Ik volgde zelf een opleiding Kleinkunst op het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Antwerpen. Ik heb me daar vooral gefocust op songwriting, performance en het ontwikkelen van stemtechniek en vind het fijn om mijn kennis te delen met anderen.

I'm a passionate classical singer with more than 12 years of experience as soloist, choralist and teacher, and I would love to explore with you all the amazing posibilities of your voice! My classes are adapted to the background and goals of the student, having in common the principles of body awareness, healthy technique and vocal hygiene, experimentation, joy and develop of musicality.

You will learn how to use your voice in a classical approach, that wil allow you then to face the most varied musical genres.

In our first class I would love to know your goals, music preferences and experiences around music. The sessions include technical exercises and repertoire revision (phrasing, diction, style). Feel free to bring at least one piece per lesson and all the questions that you have!

This includes
- fun musical games (clapping, singing, using colours, memory games)
- exploring instruments (piano, recorder, voice, body percussion)
- focusing in the music that inspires and motivates the child
- introduction and exploration of musical genres
- *(optional) help with music theory (homework) and the understanding of it
