STRUCTURE BY LEVEL Beginner* I have got my own techniques of teaching kids (lots of colors, shapes, children songs), as well as adult beginners. What’s most important in this stage is to let the student enjoy the sound of the piano, and be satisfied and motivated after a lesson. Together we will work on a certain repertoire that will help you improve your technique and hearing skills, develop your musical knowledge and creativity. Intermediate* With students of this level, we will work more on perfecting the harmony, technique, and transcription. You will learn how to improvise a more challenging repertoire that requires the practice of both technique and music analysis. Advanced* Depending on your goal, I am going to help you develop a certain part of your piano playing. We are going to dive into details of harmony (jazz harmony), improvisational skills, compositional skills, stage skills and more. *Classes can be tailored to your needs and particular areas of interest if needed. My name is João, I'm from Portugal, I'm 27 years of age, and I have a bachelor in jazz from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I've been playing piano all my life, and can't wait to share what I've learned with you! I teach piano to all ages from beginner to intermediate. Although I have a program, I will let you create your own path, taking into account the several landmarks I create according to your level and needs. Teaching is all about the individuality of each person I work with, and as a student myself, I find it to be one of the most important points in teaching. I focus mainly on jazz, but since music theory and harmony touch all kinds of music, I am open to the suggestions you bring into class. The lessons will focus on learning music through listening, as well as introducing the student to music theory, and reading scores. Whether you like Pop, Jazz, Bossa Nova, or Classical, all music comes from the same place, so let's dive in! In my experience it is important to follow you as a student on the amount of time we spend in lesson, so the length of the lesson is determined by you in the moment, and what we are working on in the lesson. I am more than happy with the lessons Aron has provided for my children aged 4 and 6, who are absolutely beginners. He is patient, helpful and supportive. He is always well-prepared and tries to make the most out of every session. Aron is an inspiring teacher, who makes learning fun and encourages students, even if it means some exploring on his instrument. He is fun to be around, but above all an excellent pianist with a brilliant technique and a passion for music. Although unfortunately we cannot proceed with the classes, because of relocation, he is highly recommended

An Organ class with Jeroen was a real joy. He is very knowledgeable, with pure passion for music, yet humble and willing to teach and pass his knowledge. During our first class he gave us a small tour over Singelkerk and explained everything about Organ, and taught some basic technics. I can recommend this to everyone willing to know more about the instrument and learn to play.
