Your kind words and detailed feedback mean the world to me and encourage me to continue sharing my passion for music. - About the Negative Comment - Regarding the only negative review: The student in question missed their first class due to sleeping in. Despite the platform's policy stating that no refunds are given for unannounced absences, I offered to provide a free replacement class at my earliest availability after the busy holiday season. Unfortunately, the student declined the date I proposed and suggested days that were outside my schedule. I had to suspend communication due to other commitments. On the initially proposed date—which had not been confirmed—the student expected a class and subsequently left a negative review. As a courtesy, I even refunded part of the fees (except for the non-refundable registration fee). - My Commitment and My Expectations - I am committed to providing high-quality lessons at an affordable price, supported by my professional experience and access to a new Yamaha YUS5 piano. My goal is to make music accessible to those who love it. In return, I ask that students respect my time and effort by adhering to agreed-upon schedules and communication practices. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Together, we can create a positive and respectful learning and growth environment. _________ - Thank you to my students - I want to start by expressing my heartfelt gratitude to all my students who have taken the time to leave me thoughtful and positive reviews. First, she is an excellent musician. Second she is a patient, and an understanding teacher, who by nature is going to try to do her best to help you out. You feel confident with her and you know you are not going to be humiliated and belittled. She is there to support you. After two years of learning music with Pr Yantong Lin, I can hardly imagine how much she "enriched my life". She made me discover the beauty and subtlety of the music. She made me think musically and not just play notes, and made me discover the "intellectual fondation and beauty of music" that is harmony. A new undiscovered world has been opened wide in front of me! Thank you Pr Yantong for your musical and teaching talents. Professeur à absolument découvrir et suivre!
