Theory of harmony was developing together as composition styles were changing over our history. That's why it's useful to be able to distinguish between major music styles, to hear the differences and to categorise world-wide known composers. Finally, we will also find time for solfeggio and ear training. Musicians use their hearing as an important tool for their musical activities. After scales, intervals and chords are saved in one's memory, ears become a good helper they can always rely on. While practicing a music instrument or singing, musicality is naturally developing. Then, the basic cadence sounds familiar, something many times heard. However, without theoretical knowledge, we cannot give it a name.
