In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals. Over the years, my classes, have proven to raise the confidence levels of students. We practice knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Amazing Tutor for Teens - So Glad We Found Younes! I was initially hesitant about online French tutoring for my 14-year-old daughter, especially since she wasn't thrilled about starting classes in the first place. However, from the very first session with Younes, all my worries disappeared. He has an incredible ability to connect with this age group. He immediately broke the ice, made the lessons engaging, and somehow managed to get my daughter genuinely interested and actually looking forward to her next class! We've now had around 8 classes with Younes, and the difference in my daughter's confidence in school is remarkable. She's participating more in her French class and seems much more comfortable speaking and understanding the language. Younes is patient, encouraging, and clearly knows how to make learning French fun and accessible for teenagers. He creates a positive and supportive learning environment, and his passion for the language is contagious.

It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)

Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed. It is very evident he is professional and has more than enough education and knowledge to teach the language very thoroughly!! I would highly recommend to take him as a teacher!
