Inspiring and enthusiastic math and physics tutor with 5 years of experience.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach math, mechanics, statistics, chemistry and physics. I also teach biology up to GCSE level. When are you available? My timetable is quite flexible. I am happy to work weekdays, week evening and weekends. Which ages and levels do you teach? The majority of my students are between the ages of 10-18, but I also teach college Students. I am also helping foundation and first year university students. Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? GCSE, IGCSE, A/S-level, A-level, IB, School entrance exams and SATs Describe your arrangements for online tutoring? I use Zoom online sessions since it has many tools and features specially designed for interactive and visual learning. I am fully equipped with modern gadgets for e-learning. I use Google drive and docs to share files.

Math and Exam prep Tutoring KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! I'm an enthusiastic undergraduate student studying Mathematics and Computer Science bachelors. My passion for numbers and problem-solving has driven me to excel in my studies, and I am excited to share my knowledge and love for maths with others. I have a solid foundation in both theoretical and applied Mathematics. During my first year at university, I had the opportunity to tutor foundation year students, which helped me develop my teaching skills and deepen my understanding of mathematical concepts. I understand that each student is unique, and I strive to customize my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. Some of the teaching techniques and approaches I employ include active learning, encouraging students to actively participate in their learning process through problem-solving and interactive activities; conceptual understanding, focusing on a deep understanding of concepts rather than just memorizing formulas, ensuring students grasp the 'why' behind mathematical principles, breaking down complex topics into manageable parts and gradually increasing difficulty as students build confidence and skills; and tailoring lessons to meet individual needs. Some areas I specialize in are Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Probability, and Preparation for Exams. I can teach both the Edexcel and AQA curriculum. I hope to see you in my classes.

Engineering Mathematics (Vector Calculus, Laplace Transforms, Differential Equations, Complex Integration)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Engineering Mathematics (Vector Calculus, Laplace Transforms, Differential Equations, Complex Integration)Translate this text using Google Translate.

I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). Key topics that I teach for this course include: • Calculus: Differentiation & integration, Multivariable calculus • Linear Algebra: Matrices, vectors, systems of equations, Eigenvalues and eigenvectors • Differential Equations: First- and second-order ODEs, Laplace transforms • Complex Numbers: Polar form, Euler’s formula • Vector Calculus: Gradient, divergence, curl, Line and surface integrals • Series & Transforms: Taylor series, Fourier series I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

Software is never treated as a substitute for understanding: I explain the reasoning behind the method, the assumptions involved, the meaning of the output, and how to verify whether the conclusion is sound. My teaching approach follows a clear progression: understand the problem → identify the appropriate concept or method → develop the reasoning → calculate or analyze → verify the result → interpret it → communicate the conclusion We can work with your course syllabus, textbook, representative exercises, exam topics, dataset, statistical output, research question, spreadsheet, dashboard, engineering application, or professional analytical problem. Whether you are rebuilding mathematical foundations, preparing for an examination, studying advanced calculus, learning statistics, conducting econometric analysis, interpreting research data, or developing practical analytical skills, I will adapt the sessions to your level, objectives, and pace. My goal is not merely to help you obtain an answer, but to help you understand the reasoning, choose appropriate methods, verify results, interpret findings correctly, and solve new problems independently.

My daughter had private tutoring for the Physics CCVX exam with Bibek, and we are extremely pleased with the experience. Bibek is a very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding tutor who truly focuses on the individual needs of the student. He adapts his teaching methods according to the student’s level and learning style, which helped my daughter gain confidence and improve her understanding of difficult concepts. Bibek was highly motivating and supportive throughout the process, encouraging her to stay focused and positive even under pressure. My daughter had a very tight deadline to pass the exam, and Bibek handled this challenge with excellent organisation and clear planning. He structured the lessons efficiently, prioritised key topics, and ensured that time was used effectively. Thanks to his guidance and dedication, my daughter was able to achieve her goal within a limited timeframe. Bibek demonstrates all the important qualities of a great tutor: strong subject knowledge, adaptability, clear communication, motivation, organisation, and genuine commitment to the student’s success. I would highly recommend him to any student looking for high-quality physics tutoring.

Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor.

I wanted to take a moment to share my heartfelt appreciation for Elie. Elie is incredibly talented, patient, and goes above and beyond to create a custom-made program that truly caters to her students' needs.
