Trusted teacher: Join My Online English Classes! My name is Sara, and I am a qualified English philologist and graduate of the acting program at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. I offer English courses for adults, children, and companies. I manage the English department at the international school Languages, develop teacher training programs, and conduct creative language workshops. I am also delighted to help you prepare for certification exams such as FCE, IELTS, CAE, CPE, and TOEFL. I invite everyone interested in learning English, as well as those who aim to enhance their personal development or improve their professional skills, to join my lessons in a professional, but enjoyable atmosphere. I provide invoices, learning certificates, and detailed lesson plans, enabling you to apply for cost reimbursement from your employer. ----------My Experience and Background---------- My qualifications and experience include: - A C2 level of English proficiency and pedagogical preparation, confirmed by the TOEFL certification. I am certified to teach students at all levels, from beginner to advanced. - I am a passionate lover of British literature, a translator, and the author of works on Tolkien’s literature. I also actively participate in cultural life and international conferences, such as NEWStories. - With extensive travel experience, I use English daily in both my professional and personal life. - Fun fact: I love animals and have developed this passion further by completing the Wildlife Management FGASA course. I’ve worked not only with people but also with lions, cheetahs, and hyenas in South Africa. - I regularly teach highly demanding students, including entrepreneurs, cultural professionals, doctors, and linguists. - I also collaborate with children and teenagers, preparing students from Schola Europaea in Luxembourg for exams qualifying them for studies in English-speaking countries (USA, UK, Ireland). ----------What Are My Lessons Like?---------- My Methodology In our first session, we’ll assess your English level and discuss your expectations and goals. Based on a wide range of methods I use, we’ll create a personalized study system that will be both effective and satisfying. We’ll develop a tailored learning program that suits your individual needs and objectives. My teaching approach is pressure-free and motivational, focusing entirely on your goals. During our sessions, we’ll use a variety of resources, many of which are custom-designed specifically for you. ----------Pricing---------- Prices depend on the duration, format, and frequency of lessons. All materials are included in the lesson price. Rates are provided in EUR, but payment in other currencies is also possible. Customized to your needs: comprehensive English progress, personal development based on your interests, language certification, academic goals, or any objective you set. ----------GROUP CONVERSATION CLASSES---------- A package of 10 conversation sessions at B2+ level to discuss various topics such as ecology, culture, and daily life. These sessions are ideal for learners who already speak English well but need practice in a friendly group setting. ----------SPECIALIZED ENGLISH LESSONS---------- Options include: - Business English for professionals - Legal English - English for Medical Professionals - Accent Correction (American accent) ----------CREATIVE ENGLISH FOR CHILDREN (Ages 5-10)---------- Based on the Creative LearningTM method, these sessions incorporate interactive exercises, games, and projects to foster imagination and analytical thinking. They inspire independent thought and curiosity about the world, creating a solid foundation for future language learning.

Trusted teacher: As a student myself, I always share the same experiences and stressful phases as my students (difficult lessons to understand, exams, assignments, etc.), and I find this to be a major asset in one-on-one tutoring. It's a close connection that most qualified teachers overlook, which prevents them from understanding the student's difficulties. I am currently in my second year at EPFL and passed my first year on my first attempt. In addition to good results at the pre-university level, I continue to excel in my studies (5.25/6 average) and am developing rigor, composure under stress, excellent organizational skills, and above all, a demanding work ethic. In terms of my career path, I am considering a Master's degree in Robotics at EPFL as well, because it is a subject that I am passionate about. To best teach a student struggling with a scientific subject, I believe it's crucial to vary the methods and terminology used. A perspective different from that of a high school/college (or even middle school) teacher can shed light on a topic sometimes perceived as "complicated". That is why I try to be as close as possible to the student, to understand their interests, in order to give simplified, visual, schematic explanations that are easily understood by the student, and that remain a clear reference. To make the most of our time with the student, I try to prepare each lesson meticulously. To do this, I will ask the student about their needs for the next lesson (if they have specific requirements, for example, a test in class or a lesson they didn't understand), or I will prepare a personalized learning plan as best I can.

It was a pleasure studying classical piano with Xiang and i recommend him as a teacher for piano. Xiang gave me guidance on hand relaxation, horizontal movements, rhytm and other ways of practicing, scales tips, pedalling, fingering and general tips. over few months of (bi)weekly lessons, he gave me guidance on few Czerny pieces and Chopin etude 12 op 10. Xiang can “sight read” some Chopin etudes at the speed that takes me several week to practice, this was amazing and inspiring to observe!:)
