Beat the 15% TU Delft Acceptance Rate! Over the past 2 years, more than half of my students have successfully passed the selection process. To kick things off, I’m offering a 2-for-1 first class: we’ll build your personalized study strategy and complete your first full lesson in a 2 hour sessions for the price of 1! TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed. As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself, completed the courses at university with excellent grades and teaching over 15 students for the entrance exam. The reviews left by the students show how satisfied they are with the classes! Throughout the class, I will use a presentation to explain the main concepts of each exam (Maths, Physics and Aerospace Engineering), focusing on those subjects the student is struggling with most. After this, I will help the student complete some practice excercises, and then assign extra practice to complete on their own time. These exercises will then be reviewed in the following class to ensure the topics have been understood. Near the exam, I will provide you with more than 1000 exam-type questions for you to get toned-up right before the real test! I am looking forward to help you in your journey as an aerospace engineer!

My name is Arjen. I tutor and give exam training in math and physics for upper secondary education (Dutch HAVO/VWO, IB, or other similar programmes). As an Aerospace Engineer, I help students not only with solving problems, but especially with understanding the “why” behind the theory. I start with a short diagnosis: where is the real difficulty? Based on this, I create a personal learning plan that I share with the student. In this way we work in a focused way on those areas where most is to be gained. During the sessions, the focus is on recognizing structure and analyzing problems step by step, so that students become more independent and their confidence gets a boost. In my explanations, I regularly use examples from technology and engineering. By linking abstract theory to real applications, it becomes clearer where the mathematics or physics comes from and what it is needed for, and things often suddenly “click”. I can give lessons both at home and via an online connection. In the latter case, I do this using a tablet, allowing you to follow my explanations and examples live on your screen. After the the lessons, I create personal practice exercises when needed, tailored to the student’s level and learning goals. In this way, we work not only towards better results in the short term, but also towards a strong foundation for future studies.

I have been a teacher for over 30 years, and I gained experience in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the People's University (Volksuniversiteit) in The Hague (Netherlands). Since 2015 I have been teaching Polish to adults from different backgrounds at this university. I am a teacher with language teaching preparation, which means that I am prepared to conduct Polish lessons as a foreign or second language Moreover, children from Polish-Dutch families were or currently are participants in my private and group lessons at a Saturday school in the Netherlands. Given my disciplined, reliable and professional attitude, I am happy to take up any challenge in teaching Polish as a foreign language. I use simple yet effective teaching methods such as a focus on direct contact with the language, natural acquisition of vocabulary and grammar or frequent repetition of language material. During my lessons I mainly use the tools and materials from various publishers. Being a teacher gives me great satisfaction, especially when I see students ambitiously continue their language learning and try to use and expand their knowledge at every interaction with the Polish society.

As a multidisciplinary artist, I believe that strong digital work is rooted in traditional mastery. This course combines the tactile logic of oil painting and watercolors with the power of Photoshop and digital design. We begin with the core fundamentals, anatomy, still life, and composition before transitioning those skills into the digital space. You will learn to control digital brushes, build convincing lighting, and apply color with intention. We move beyond simple tutorials to tackle character design, surreal environments, and professional workflows. By the end of this course, you will have a body of polished, original work and a deep understanding of the design fundamentals that make an image successful in any medium. you’ll produce portfolio-ready artworks and understand a professional workflow from sketch to finish. Each session combines hands-on exercises with discussion of artistic choices, so you strengthen both technical skill and creative judgment. This course is for beginners and intermediate artists who want to go beyond tutorials and actually build a body of polished, original work.

I am an interactive teacher with 5 years of experience. My teaching style is friendly and open, yet clear and direct. I incorporate a variety of materials, interactive simulations, and conceptual learning whenever possible. My abilities in education are exceptionally strong and continually improving with each tutoring session. Due to the previous situation with Covid, online teaching has become second nature to me, and I am delighted to assist you in your online learning journey. Teaching Methodology: To effectively teach a student, it is not sufficient to merely take notes or review the same material repeatedly. Students need time to connect concepts by approaching subjects from various angles. Making learning interesting in a classroom setting requires practice and skill, and I have been honing these abilities over the years, constantly seeking improvement as both a teacher and a learner myself!

-Dutch & videos below- Lessons in 6 languages! With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CDs/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I've come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts. I've been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I'm 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department. I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won't waste your time! Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages. The lessons can take place in my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or in your home. -Dutch- Lessons in 6 languages! Learning how to play a musical instrument is a path that only leads to growth. It is an activity that is challenging, beautiful and extremely rewarding. It allows you to connect your body and mind through a creative proccess that can be shared with others. I really believe that studying the violin has the power to stimulate the intellect, enhance creativity and let us enjoy music, not only by listening, but also by producing it! If this resonates, please keep reading! I am Julia, a classical violin player. I studied at Codarts university in Rotterdam and played in an Orchestral Academy for a year in Spain. I discovered I enjoy teching very much while following a minor in education during my bachelor. Throughout the course I learned pedagogy, didactics and methodology, and worked with students of different ages and levels of experience. I love teaching because it allows me to share my knowledge and challenges me to be more imaginative and flexible. The lessons are tailor-made. This means that the goals are going to be adapted to YOUR wishes taking in account previous experience, expectations and musical taste. Even though I have a classical training, I am open to work with different styles. I teach children from 5 years old onwards and adults. Where words leave off, music begins...

Hello! 👋 My name is Rafael and I’m from Portugal! :) I would love to help you on this adventure of learning the Portuguese language. I’m fluent in teaching both bacalhau Portuguese and caipirinha Portuguese (PT & BR). I’m deeply involved with both cultures. My classes are tailored to meet the needs of my students. I have the experience and skills to offer conversation lessons and/or more structured classes focused on grammar. Whatever your reason for seeking Portuguese lessons, I’m here to listen and help you in any way I can. FYI: I’m also a musician, so we can chat a lot about music or even incorporate it into our Portuguese lessons. Have you ever wanted to analyze the lyrics of Bossa Nova or Fado? If you love Brazilian or Portuguese music, we can definitely use it as class material. I have been teaching at the Una Paloma Blanca language school in Rotterdam since 2020. Here, I had the chance to really develop my teaching craft, working with many different students, each with their own needs and reasons for learning Portuguese. I had the opportunity to teach both European and Brazilian Portuguese to individual and group classes. In addition to this work, I also provided private lessons to some students who needed preparation before moving to Brazil or Portugal. In my classes, we set personal goals, and I help you with all the knowledge and experience I have. My lessons are balanced with a good amount of conversation practice, grammar and exercises. So, you want to learn Portuguese, but you’re still not sure if I’m the right person to help? I would be delighted to do a lesson so we can introduce ourselves and discuss how I can assist you! Let me show you how I can be a fun and efficient Portuguese tutor! :) Thank you for your attention, and I hope to see you in class! Rafael

SPECIALISED IN TEACHING ADULTS. Would you like to learn one of the instruments which have more style possibilities? Would you like to know why many composers say that is a very powerful instrument because it fits in may situations? Did you know that in the Klezmer history clarinet substituted the violin for projection reasons but also because perfectly able to imitate the human voice, crying or laughing? Would you like to discover the fascinating world of clarinet? One of my priorities as a musician is the sound. I believe that with a beautiful and personal sound you are able at every level to transmit emotion and meaning, it doesn’t matter the difficulty or the level. So I try to focus first on awareness of what’s beautiful for the student and what’s not. Then through technique and repertoire (suggestions of the student or suggestions of mine that can help to grow the student curiosity), we develop the student knowledge. Always helping the student to understand -depending on his/her the theoretical level- what we are doing, putting together music and theory. And giving tools to expand the border, at all levels. I have knowledge and experience in Jazz, Classical, Klezmer, Choro Music and Improvisation. You just need a precious element! • Music Theory I focus on having a good basics, spending as much as we need to understand every single thing, because then with times it becomes more easy. I try to help the student simplifying the material because then, we only with ourselves with a good procedure of the basics to solve any problem. Only with one lesson, you will understand what I mean. I have experience in preparing students for exams, the ones for the semester as well as any official exam; doesn't matter if you have an intermediate theory level and you want to improve, or if you would like to be stronger solidifying the knowledge you have (which is always the best option), or if you don’t know anything about notes and music concepts and you would like to be familiar with them. Maybe you are an adult who always wanted to improvise but doesn’t know where to start...? The only thing you need is a good organization -which I can provide- to reach any goal!

Ciao! I have been teaching Italian for the past sixteen years, privately and at language schools including La Scuola Italiana del Greenwich Village in New York and ItalCultura, the school of the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago. During our first two lessons, I’ll make sure you have the tools to pronounce and recognize all the sounds of Italian. This step is essential, and it makes everything that comes afterwards much easier. When I teach, I try to avoid all the things I hated as a language student. My terrifying French teacher in middle school made us repeat the same fake dialogue from a really bad textbook ad nauseam, over and over and over again. Some of it is still carved into my brain: “Bonjour, je m’appelle Richard Drapeau, je viens du Canada, je suis Canadien...” So we won’t do that. We’ll use real songs and real literature. We’ll have real conversations, tell stories, improvise, and, when possible, go on “talking walks.” I find that when you engage more of your senses, it becomes easier to relax, stay curious, and actually remember new words. I customize my materials around your interests, needs, and desired pace. If you love cinema, we can work with films. If you’re interested in literature, politics, food, art, history, or simply being able to have a proper conversation when you’re in Italy, that can become part of the class. And because you’re learning with a native Italian, you’ll also learn about Italian culture, history, habits, gestures, contradictions, and ways of thinking. Language is never just a pile of grammar rules. I speak several languages myself, so I know both how exciting and how painfully tedious learning one can be. My aim is to give you a strong foundation without draining all the life out of it. I hold a degree in Lingue e Letterature Straniere (Foreign Languages and Literatures) from Università Roma Tre and a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts and Media from Columbia College Chicago. I wrote my university thesis on translating a long epic poem by W. H. Auden, and at one point I tried to ride a horse across America.

We will find your needs together and start working from that point. You can come with no experience at all and I will help you to explore and develop your voice. It's also not important if you cannot read music, I can help you with that as well. If you are already a singer, we will work in order to refine your technique. Although I have the most experience with classical, I am able and I am glad to teach other styles! Voice, breathing, and posture are connected and fundamental for a healthy technique so we will also work on that while we focus on your voice. Singing can be very personal and confronting but do not fear, we work in a safe environment. Let yourself be surprised with what you can achieve!! The lesson can be in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian.

Use your musical power! Or do you want to be able to select the music you like yourself? Should not be out of your level, we can play from pop to classical music, every student is different and therefore also my method. I, Kaori, have been active in the musical sector as a driven entrepreneur since 2016. At the age of three I started playing the piano, when I was 16 I composed my first piano song, and at the age of 18 I started to conduct small ensembles and create my own multidisciplinary to create projects with a mix of music, theater and other arts. By sharing my love for music, I ensure that the message gets across to the musicians, regardless of their level. My main focus is on playing together, being musically active and having fun in the process. I believe that every person is different and has different needs and abilities, that's why I like to adapt to my students and take care of their interests. In case the student does not have a clear view, I help him/her to find what appeals to him/her. If the student wishes, I can easily prepare him/her for the entrance exams for the conservatory.
