Trusted teacher: Behavioral analysis uses principles of behavior to solve practical everyday problems. Starting from observations, several hypotheses are put forward, without ever judging, to decode and decipher gestures, words, a way of expressing oneself (...). Based on empathy, these methods allow: - on the one hand, to understand his interlocutor and to adapt to the situation to effectively transmit his messages and convince - on the other hand, to improve one's own verbal and non-verbal communication with a verified methodology and very specific techniques Therefore, it is not only a question of learning to 'decode' the other but also of improving one's skills during oral interventions in public, better managing one's personal/professional communication & the conflicts which result from it, mastering the negotiation techniques (...): your objectives in terms of communication can be diverse and the objective of these sessions is precisely to accompany you to better achieve them. So how do you get a clear message across, make a difference & make an impression? ➤ So, how to listen and be listened to, convince and be impactful, challenge and make an impression, enhance your content, address your audience effectively and optimize the quality & clarity of the exchange / message? It is precisely a question of going through, applying and deploying practical and effective techniques of oral presentation, of simple intervention or of 'one to one` exchange, aiming to challenge your audience or interlocutor, by taking care of the substance as well as the form. , all in a professional or personal context. For this, there are various techniques of verbal and non-verbal communication. ➤ Thus, mastered, the practical method allows, through a set of simulations and scenarios based on your daily experience to support pragmatic & concrete techniques, to decode the gestures and behaviors of its interlocutors but also to improve confidence in self, his confidence, his ease by overcoming his embarrassment and mastering his emotion in public. But also to work on his leadership & his charisma, in a context where empathy and emotional intelligence are at the service of communication. ➤ So, in this context, after having precisely defined your objective & gone through the blockages encountered, here are some examples of themes covered through concrete techniques & a targeted methodology: ✓Practical tools to perfect your rhetoric/repartee ✓Decode and use the practical communication tools of great leaders ✓Fundamentals (practices) of eloquence but also of public speaking (intonation, gaze, gestures, elocution, range, emotions, pronunciation, development of one's own style of charisma) to ensure consistency between substance & form ✓Fundamentals of Body Language to support and not interfere with the speech while being convinced & convincing. ✓ Highlighting their speech & promoting their speaking to arouse interest, by building on their strengths. ✓Creation of a coherence between the message emitted & the message received in order to improve its speech and in fact, its professional/personal relations. ✓Management of Q&A sessions & external reactions during an intervention or an oral exchange. ✓Practical tools to put your interlocutor at ease and appear friendly/interested. ✓To succeed in a negotiation/mediation. ✓On the one hand, learning to say 'no' simply in three steps AND on the other hand, getting people to say 'yes'. ✓To turn sentences into positive AND constructive. ✓To manage conflicts (eg 'assertive' communication techniques, eg CNV techniques - Non Violent Communication). ✓To put NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) at the service of communication. ✓To adopt effective, simple, fair and engaging language. ✓To use sentences, turns of phrase & expressions allowing to be precise, simple, effective & challenging. ✓To manage your personal & professional relationships with, for example, the preparation of your ratings. ✓Make your hypersensitivity a strength to tame your abilities. ✓Listening proactively and expressing / conveying ideas / message clearly. ✓ Avoid letting your emotions show through and propose a constructive solution to problems, while drawing on your own relational skills. ✓Be better equipped to recognize and immediately remedy situations that weaken their authority and affect their ability to communicate effectively. ✓Enhance their potential for expression and creativity (often underestimated until now) and 'apparent' sociability ✓Develop not necessarily self-confidence, but the 'appearance' of self-confidence, refine one's listening to respond adequately, open up to the resources of the imagination, free oneself from the rational to then structure one's speech. ✓Relate their communication objectives (project, institution, values, ideas, demands, etc.) to the form of their expression. ✓Learn and put into practice persuasive communication techniques and better understand the perception that others have of oneself. In order to improve his skills of 'self-presentation' and conveyed image. ✓Practical techniques to foster the engagement of the other party. ✓Strengthen the structure of its communication and develop a convincing argument in order to sell its ideas and projects. (...) ➤ To master the keys to successful public communication, it is advisable to reinforce the impact of one's speeches: by structuring one's interventions and taking into account the circumstances and expectations of the public; by making an impression through storytelling; integrating the psychological and emotional factors of effective oral communication; integrating emotions in the preparation of the message and the arguments; anticipating objections and delicate situations; by preparing and structuring an attractive and convincing presentation framework; by experimenting with the rules of improvisation; by adequately managing difficult situations (...). ➤ In short, each session combines techniques & practical exercises adapted to your daily situations (filmed with your agreement in order to be reviewed, commented on, decoded together live), so that you can apply them immediately, and from the 1st session. ➤ THE TRAINER Trained in a Grande Ecole post-preparatory European classes & Ivy League university in the United States, our teacher has specialized and has worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field of communication, in renowned international public and private establishments, intervening in forums and conferences, & oriented towards pedagogy and careful methodology. ➤ PLACE, TIMETABLE, PRICES ✓ Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Fribourg-Zurich-Neuchâtel-Lugano-Montreux-Basel-Neuchâtel-Bern-Lucerne-Brussels-Luxembourg-Paris-Lyon. But currently, these sessions continue to be offered by videoconference in the current context and in accordance with general demand which is almost unanimous on this subject. ✓ Indeed, apart from the classic advantages of videoconferencing (time saving related to travel & their unforeseen events, eco-responsibility, increased schedule flexibility, etc.), the quality of the session & the interaction remain identical. In addition, the entire exchange, notes and recommendations are immediately transcribed on the dedicated chat. ✓ To support us among ourselves & to be pleasant to you in this sustainable / particular period and in a spirit of solidarity, the fees are temporarily reduced and will not increase after the start of our sessions. ✓ Languages: French/English. ✓ The progress following these private sessions is perceptible from 1 to 2 sessions (*2024 study). ✓ As other people do regularly, you can also please your loved ones by offering gift vouchers available all year round. Trusted teacher: The course module is tailored to the student's needs. A program overview will be presented during the first class. I will guide you in developing your written and/or oral communication skills, adopting an approach grounded in the science of political communication, international relations, and the social sciences and humanities. The goal is to teach you how to structure a clear, impactful, and persuasive message, while mastering various persuasion and negotiation techniques. ▪️ Political communication involves the creation and exchange of ideas and opinions among citizens, political leaders, public institutions, and related stakeholders, such as the media. It encompasses all discourse throughout the political process at the local, regional, national, and international levels, as well as how political information can be used for strategic purposes or to achieve political objectives. Those trained in political communication can work in fields such as diplomacy, public and private policy consulting, public relations, journalism, media and digital campaigns, market research, community organizing, lobbying, and other related sectors. ▪️ The techniques taught will allow you to gain confidence in both public speaking and the development of your strategic speeches and narratives. ▪️ But above all, to achieve your goals, it is essential to master the art of public speaking, that is, the ability to express yourself clearly and effectively before an audience. This generally refers to a formal, face-to-face speech in which a speaker addresses a group of people. ▪️ At the student's request, the course can also incorporate skills in marketing, promotion, digital optimization, and SEO, allowing you to acquire: - An integrated digital marketing strategy, adapted to the context and objectives of your organization; - The skills necessary to analyze and leverage data in order to make informed, strategic, and innovative decisions; - A forward-looking vision of marketing, including the use of new digital channels and technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and chatbots; and - The ability to anticipate challenges and seize opportunities offered by disruptive technologies in your digital marketing strategy.

Trusted teacher: 🧪 IB Chemistry Apprentice Lesson Plan Topic: The Electromagnetic Spectrum Level: IB Year 1 (Apprentice) Duration: 60 minutes Lesson Objectives By the end of this lesson, students should be able to: ‣ Describe the electromagnetic spectrum and identify its different regions. ‣ Understand and apply the equation c = fλ. ‣ Differentiate between a continuous spectrum and a line spectrum. ‣ Explain the concept of quantized energy in atoms. Lesson Outline Introduction (0–5 minutes) Start the lesson by asking students a few engaging questions: What are some examples of invisible light or radiation around us? Why do we wear sunscreen? Allow brief responses, then explain that all of these examples are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which we will study today. Teaching Phase 1 – Overview of the Electromagnetic Spectrum (5–15 minutes) Introduce the electromagnetic spectrum. Explain that it is a range of all electromagnetic waves, which vary by frequency and wavelength. Emphasize that all electromagnetic waves travel at the same speed in a vacuum – the speed of light, c = 3.00 × 108 m/s. Key formula to introduce: c = fλ, where: c = speed of light f = frequency (Hz) λ = wavelength (m) Point out that high-frequency waves have short wavelengths and higher energy (like gamma rays), while low-frequency waves have long wavelengths and lower energy (like radio waves). Display a spectrum diagram showing the range from radio to gamma rays, with visible light in the center. Teaching Phase 2 – Spectrum Types: Continuous vs. Line Spectrum (15–25 minutes) Explain the difference between continuous and line spectra. A continuous spectrum** contains all wavelengths in a range, like a rainbow produced when white light passes through a prism. A line spectrum** shows only specific wavelengths or frequencies. This happens when excited electrons fall back to lower energy levels and release photons of specific energies. Explain that energy is **quantized**—electrons cannot have just any amount of energy; only specific values are allowed. Use the helium line spectrum image as an example. Real-World Examples and Class Discussion (35–45 minutes) Give students three practical examples and discuss their uses: 1. Microwaves – Used in cooking and communications. 2. Ultraviolet (UV) rays – Cause sunburn; used in sterilizing equipment. 3. Gamma rays– Used in cancer treatment and in detecting radioactive materials. Ask students: Where do you see or use electromagnetic waves in your daily life? Encourage short contributions to reinforce understanding. Student Exercises (45–55 minutes) Have students complete these three questions individually: 1. A wave has a frequency of 6.0 × 1014 Hz. Calculate its wavelength using c = 3.00 × 108 m/s. 2. Explain the difference between a continuous and line spectrum, with an example of each. 3. Why are gamma rays more dangerous to humans than radio waves? Wrap-Up and Recap (55–60 minutes) Call on a few students to briefly summarize one key thing they learned.

Trusted teacher: Born following behavioral observation, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) designates a whole set of techniques (dissociation, reframing, etc.) and methods aimed at promoting the personal development of the individual. Neuro-linguistic programming is concerned with how humans function in a given environment, based on their behavioral patterns. Through a set of techniques and methods, NLP helps to change the way an individual perceives his environment. Indeed, each individual has a map of the world which is specific to him, and which is modulated by his beliefs and his conditioning. The purpose of NLP is to modify this map in order to enable the individual to achieve their goals more effectively. NLP therefore provides the necessary tools to make personal and structural changes, in order to create new potential for success. Neuro-linguistic programming is primarily concerned with "How to make it work well?" Rather than "Why is this not working?" ". It suggests recognizing the behaviors we adopt when communicating, and then making changes if desired. - “Programming” refers to the fact that we are conditioned by our environment which includes a system of beliefs and behaviors. - “Neuro” means that these programs are encoded in our neural circuits. - “Linguistics” refers to language, whether verbal or non-verbal. Examples of benefits of Neurolinguistic Programming: -Improvement of the mother-child relationship -Improved performance and decreased anxiety -Improvement of psychological difficulties and quality of life (..) The objective of this training: to target the tools which will support your communication, your image, will help you to decipher your interlocutor (...) to better achieve your objectives. Thus, after having exchanged with you about the essential blockages that you encounter, targeted areas for improvement, your objectives (...), pragmatic tools, techniques & methods will be put in place based on the initial data. Combined with these theoretical elements, their implementation will follow (for example, by filmed simulations or at the end of the session in real life). Course of a session: in conversational form, the practitioner identifies the problem and determines the objective with the client by asking a set of questions. He directs his questions towards solutions rather than the story that generated the situation. Then according to his practice, the practitioner uses the tools at his disposal in order to remove blockages and promote behavioral change, while deciphering the communication of the other as well as his own, thanks to specific NLP tools. THE PRACTITIONER Trained at the Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League University in the United States, our consultant teacher trainer has specialized and worked for more than 17 years, in Europe and North America, in the field, in renowned international public and private establishments, regularly speaking in forums and conferences, and also offering personalized INDIVIDUAL support, with pedagogy and meticulous methodology as the watchwords. ➤ PLACE, TIMETABLE, PRICES ✓ Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Fribourg-Zurich-Neuchâtel-Lugano-Montreux-Basel-Neuchâtel-Bern-Lucerne-Brussels-Luxembourg-Paris-Lyon. Trusted teacher: Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Trusted teacher: Lessons for all ages. Harp, piano, music theory. I graduated from the KMC Gent and have a career/experience of more than 40 years. I also followed yoga, mindfulness and kinesiology courses. The combination of playing an instrument with mindfulness opens up many possibilities. During the lessons for harp or piano you learn the necessary technique, and musicality is taken into account. The better the technical skill, the more fluidly the musicality can unfold. No previous knowledge of ear training is required for the instrument. Gradually you learn to read the notes. For those who wish, I give AMV (General Musical Education) Here you practice extra on reading, rhythm, general & specific hearing exercises, and theoretical knowledge. Those who are going to higher music studies and experience a gap in music theory can come to me for specific training. I also guide students for solfège who are taking their entrance exam for KMC and also during their student trajectory. Here is more explanation. The lessons are individual and adapted to each student. For toddlers aged 4 to 6 who are learning to play the piano, I follow a method based on a musical fairy tale. It is a method that meets the child's world of experience. They discover the possibilities of the instrument and the way of writing songs. Step by step they learn to play and sing songs on the piano. For harp I can advise to start at 6 years. Fingers at 4 years are still too tender to pluck strings. 6 years is a better age to start harp playing. They play on a small instrument that is appropriate for their age. For children who start from the age of 7, I use a different method book for piano and the child's world of experience is also taken into account. For children who start playing the harp at that age, the method book is also aimed at the child. The method books are therefore tailored to the age and capabilities of the child, teenagers and adults. For students at the college who are going to study music professionally, the subject 'music theory' is included in the curriculum. In case of shortcomings in music theory, the specific needs are updated. Both theory, lecture in G and F clef, performance of rhythm in all time signatures, rhythm dictation, intonation training, intonation dictation, recognition of intervals melodic and harmonic, rhythmic-melodic dictation can be updated to make up for deficiencies. I can guide students in music as a hobby, as well as in music professionally.

I had my first lesson today and I was immediately struck with the feeling that I am in the presence of a maestro in Piano playing, a professor in teaching and an extremely patient pedagogue. It was like Lydia knew me for years and instantaneously detected my strengths and my weaknesses in my piano playing and practice. I am an adult student and I highly recommend Lydia for all ages and all levels. An exceptional teacher that provides and exceptional lesson experience.
