I offer acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass lessons at home or via video. What I propose: A tailor-made course: we start with what you like. Your favorite songs guide the progression; I build technique and ear around your repertoire (rock, folk, chanson, blues, metal, funk, etc.). All levels, all ages: from complete beginners to experienced musicians, in individual lessons, parent-child duos, or small groups. Active and collective teaching: group playing (if there is a group), covers and creations, improvisation, preparation of small scenes (music festival, village festival), and recordings to keep track of your progress. This approach is at the heart of my teaching: work by covers, stage projects, creations and MAO support. “Sound & studio” module (optional): discovery of effects, the sound chain, introduction to MAO / home studio (notably Ableton Live) to arrange, record and mix your tracks. Concrete & practical: rhythm, right hand/plectrum, chords and inversions, riffs, vocal accompaniment, reading grids/tabs, setting up with metronome and backing tracks. Who am I ? Maxime was very responsive online and we were easily able to setup a time and place, and he was on time for our first class. The class itself was great. He was prepared, and clearly has experience teaching, having cited various methods, and selected one that he felt was most appropriate for my age, interests and level.
