Trusted teacher: Professional musician, teacher for 20 years, 3 gold medals at the conservatory. Take piano lessons at any age, at your home or mine, or by video. The piano is my first instrument and means a lot to me. Already present at my birth, I started as soon as I could reach the keyboard. Then studied classical from 6 to 12 years old at the Nice Conservatory, then I continued in jazz. The piano is at the same time the most complete instrument and the simplest which is, a real orchestra under the fingers, the visualization of the keys making the instrument King of the theory, of the harmony and of the musical comprehension, which will open the doors to all your musical desires, either perfecting you on the piano, or giving you an incomparable basis for starting another instrument, or just enjoying music as a connoisseur. Methodology: The course adapts to the student's profile, objectives, and repertoire preferences. My lessons are subject to a minimum of regular practice, left to my discretion. I also like to allow adults to resume and / or develop their game, which I have often done, so do not hesitate. The study of the piano requires seriousness, but always in a good mood :-). See you soon. course: Diploma in Musical Studies from the conservatories of Nice and Perpignan. Gold medals for violin unanimously high honors, chamber music, and specialized musical training. Some experiences: substitute violinist of the Philharmonic Orchestras of Nice and Cannes, professor of music theory and violin in a cultural center, piano, violin and chamber music at the Academy of Music, piano, violin and musical training in a music school in Marseille, piano and violin in Mimet (13), violin at the Arpeggione school, and at the conservatories of Avignon and Aix-en-Provence. Piano, violin and music theory teacher at home since 2003. I played in various orchestras in the department such as the Marseille Chamber Orchestra. Personal services organization (50% immediate tax credit advance for courses taken at your home). 30-minute classes are reserved for children under 10 years old. Classes are due within 48 hours of their scheduled start time. Therefore, in the event of absence, illness, or cancellation, please notify us by this deadline if possible, otherwise the class in question will be charged.

Trusted teacher: Welcome to my online Piano Class. I am Maria Papadatou, and I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from zero to the top. I love all student levels, but only towards the CLASSICAL piano, of any eras' works and composers. Don't be afraid, my lesson is human-friendly 😊 Everything goes step by step! Outside the lesson time, I send you lots of short videos to support your practice through the week. As each student is different, I focus on each ones' needs and I am always creative in helping you learn through the simplest ways - "if it's easy, it's correct", that's my motto! My greatest happiness is to watch my students grow, overcome any limit and expand in full potential! As a result, many of my students have won top prizes at major international competitions, as the IBLA Grand Prize, the Spoleto International Piano Competition, the Bach au Jazz (Lilia Boyadjieva) International Piano Competition and many others. And also, at renown online competitions, as The Royal, the IYMC, the Forte Academy, and many-many others. So, in case you need a competition or exam preparation, here you are at the right place! I will help you discover the advanced piano technique, and the ways to achieve your best musical interpretation. Also, very important, I'll help you understand and approach each composers' unique style, and, also, secure your concert / stage presence, with simple and effective solutions for memorisation and control. I am a very proud piano teacher, as on Jan 11 2026 four young students of mine were awarded by the renown American Competition "The Royal Foundation" and were invited and performed at a Gala at the Carnegie Hall in New York City! Also, these kids were invited to participate to the Juilliard School festival, with masterclass and lessons, a fabulous chance and experience that I wish all young pianists could have! On Sept 1st 2024 three awarded students of mine were invited to perform at The DiMenna Classical Centre of Music in Manhattan, from another American competition, the International Youth Music Competition. I wish I can always bring such great opportunities and successes to all of my "piano kids"! Just search and watch our YouTube channel to see everyone's progress from the very first lessons to... the Carnegie!

Giorgia

I started my lessons with Giorgia four months ago, and I am so glad to have found her. As a 26-year-old beginner, I was not sure if I should even try to pursue learning an instrument at this point. But now I am so glad I did! I am learning online, and I was a little unsure of how lessons via webcam would go. Despite my prejudice, everything turned out great, even though my setup is quite basic. Her approach to teaching is very creative. She is able to explain things that seem hard to put into words, and she always finds comparisons and descriptions that convey clearly little details of approach that make a lot of difference in the end result. For any difficulty I encountered, she presented methods of exercise that helped correct it. Another thing that I appreciate is that from one lesson to the next, the volume of work is challenging enough that I feel I am making progress, but not to the point that I am overwhelmed. Also, even though I am just beginning and the pieces are not that complex, she explains the musical interpretation in a way that not only helps me advance my skill but also enriches the way I understand and listen to music, and I find great value in that. Her manner of teaching is very organic, and she is a patient teacher with a warm presence. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons!

David

I had previously played some classical for a few years, but was looking to learn jazz piano and improvisation as well. For this David is ideal, as he studied both as a classical and jazz musician, and has a deep understanding of each. About half the lessons we focus on jazz improvisation. During the lessons I improvise over a few songs, and each session he gives feedback, while adding a new layer of difficulty. We've also worked a lot on rhythm, which has really helped me bridge the gap between classical and jazz. We spent a few lessons on classical pieces as well, to refine technique and musicality. My playing feels much more fluid and musical already, and he's really helpful/knowledgeable with the details. Also, on the weeks where I did have not had much time to practice, we do a more (jazz) theory oriented lesson, which has also helped alot with my improvisation. Overall, I only have positive things to say about the lessons! David is a very easy-going teacher, and from the first lesson I felt very comfortable asking him questions. He's very versatile as well, and easily adapts the lesson according to what suits us best that week.

After 4-5 months of learning piano with Maria, I owe her big gratitude. I decided to learn piano as an adult and Maria helped me to overcome my insecurities in music and motivated me to keep trying and practicing. She truly cares about the whole learning experience and uses amazing methods to guide me not only in improving my playing skills, but also my musicality. The piano classes with Maria are always inspiring and challenging, but not overwhelming. In each class, she corrects the techniques and accommodates exercises for practice accordingly. I am really satisfied with her dedication and feedback. I cannot recommend Maria highly enough. In her teaching, she uses the right dose of professionalism, friendliness, patience, and understanding. Her enthusiasm for the music is so contagious. Her lovely and passionate nature and energetic vibes simply make the class an enjoyable learning experience. I cannot wait for the next piano class with Maria. :)
