For 6 years the business ran very successfully employing over 40 tutors throughout Brisbane and Ipswich, and a couple on the Gold and Sunshine coasts. I personally tutored for over 12 years in 2 countries, Australia and South Africa. The business was eventually sold to a Japanese investor when I moved full time into homeschooling and sadly is no longer in operation. I have tutored at least 100 students across every grade from prep through to year 12 within the Queensland system, from both state and private schools and am familiar with a large number of schools in the west Brisbane and Ipswich regions. Over 6000 hours of teaching experience. I also have experience tutoring accounting and business subjects at the tertiary level, particularly with UQ and USQ students.I have a Bachelor of Commerce and an Honours degree in Accounting. I love teaching, and especially a one-on-one approach helping students overcome challenging topics and negative beliefs about their ability to learn and understand.
