Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more. From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate. I'm very happy with my Son's first English subject session with Denise. She was engaging, though-provoking, positive, professional, and had purpose and structure to her lesson which held my Son's attention in a subject he struggles with. Rosy was an excellent teacher for my 15-year-old daughter. She is a most pleasant, kind, and generous person. Also, she was always well-prepared and on time.
